My god the Stuart storyline looks like it’s winding down, seriously how much more can there be?

I don't watch Eastenders so I don't follow this thread... so apologises if this has already been posted!

 

Drama (UKTV Play) have started showing Classic Eastenders from the beginning. I think they're showing a couple of episodes a day at midday.

Yes I are showing two episodes a day from the beginning, started last Monday.

At last Sharon is seeing what Dennis is like, it has taken her far too long.

Keanu and the Taylor's have really come into their own, mainly Karen, Keegan and Keanu.

Bernadette, i wouldn't say the same for as i really don't understand the direction of her character.

At last Eastenders seem to be getting better, but I know where this is leading to. I just hope they don't string it.

The episodes this week are an improvement.

I honestly think this is making all the difference. It’s not difficult to sit through an episode without the worst characters/stories present.

 

I care about Sharon and Keanu. I care about Rainie. I care about Honey. I’m even interested in Mel and Jack. So I’ve had no problems with the episodes this week.

 

The Carters are seriously the biggest issue right now. The only decent one are Shirley and Linda and they get bugger all to do these days aside from react to Mick. How much better did Linda seem tonight without Mick hovering over her?

Wonder if bringing in Danny Dyer has killed the show after he was ironically touted as the one to save it? Oop

 

And lol at CLASSIC EASTENDERS getting more impact than the current episodes!

It is for me anyway, as TBoy said they just shove him in everywhere and the episodes are far better when he isn't there to drain them. It's hard to give a shit at all about him or Stuart yet they're so much of the show recently. I get Danny is a big name, he's a bit of a dilf and people like him, but he's not such a big name that his stunt casting has to turn the show into something that revolves around him... No matter who the character is, they don't need as much forced airtime as him or any character will become stale.

I did like Mick, but in the last year in particular he is far too overused.

Linda is much more diverse and appealing but gets much less on screen time.

 

 

I used to like Mick too but then he told his son he should have killed himself and it’s been downhill ever since. This time last year I was willing Linda to leave him.
