A blast from the past! One of those names I've heard express an interest in returning but didn't think ever could.

Ofcom are apparently investigating the decline in viewing figures for EE and Corrie. Shouldn't take them long to work out the issue surely
I've not watched this since May... idk whats happening

Lmao what!!

Just a few years ago right wing rags were falsely attacking Corrie for 'ratings crises' with 7-8 million due to 'moving away from traditional roots' in having 'more gay characters' on!! Why aren't they saying anything aboot EE now?

Extremely random and due to the many disappointments of late, i wont get my hopes too high when they say returning for a great storyline.
She's gone?! We legit turned round to sort dinner out and it was over and we weren't sure what happened

Did Super Max drive her out by any chance?

Apparently it slays the bbc iplayer, so maybe the viewing figures haven't changed all that much :o

Max actually backed her up in the main. Rainie and Robbie’s reaction drove her to go.

Such as shame to see Donna gone tbh. Especially given they only just used her properly again recently. Then again, she’s lasted four years and Lisa Hammond left of her own accord.

B-List Ronnie and Roxy?

B-List Ronnie and Roxy?

Rainie is so much better than either of those tho.

Please! *.* She took Corrie from being the worst soap to the best, so I'd love to see her bring EastEnders back to the top of the pack.

The details I found out online were that Eastenders is one of the most popular shows on iplayer, but not one of those getting 4-7 million streams like the top programmes.

"he most popular individual show on iPlayer during the festive period was the Christmas Day episode of EastEnders, which was requested 1.6m times. Six of the top 10 shows on iPlayer were episodes of EastEnders, with other popular programmes including the series four finale of Peaky Blinders and the Christmas specials of Doctor Who and Mrs Brown’s Boys."

So we could probably add over a million to the daily viewers, taking it actually into the 5 million range.

I would welcome Kate Oates as producer as I enjoyed her work on both emmerdale and Corrie, whoever gets the job as there work cut out as so much needs to be done and it will take time. I'm so disappointed with John yorks work, the improvements he made are very very slight. The current Tina storyline is just awful, they really could have come up with a far better reveal.
