June 19, 20187 yr I was expecting Christina to chart at about #23, so it's done better than I thought. I expect she'll fall down to about #16.
June 19, 20187 yr That's interesting that Carters are so low on streaming. I would be fascinated to know the difference in subscribers between Spofify free and premium.
June 19, 20187 yr It’s annoying that they didn’t just go for the regular album release, if this had decent promo beforehand and/or was actually credited to a more recognisable name they could’ve got away with this release. Instead of potentially getting a #1 album to both their name it’ll underperform. Not that that’s a necessarily bad thing, but you would think that a Beyoncé + Jay Z album would be an instant #1. It definitely would’ve been 10 years ago anyway
June 19, 20187 yr The Carters are not in top 100 in the US Spotify at all Edited June 19, 20187 yr by SKOB

June 19, 20187 yr Yeah, I think they are beyond caring at this point about chart positions. They already have a huge legacy and still make shedloads of $$ through touring. A flop album won’t tarnish them in the same it would Katy Perry.
June 19, 20187 yr I really think they're too rich and famous to actually care how well the album does. It could be a total chart flop and they're still royalty. Too rich but apparently not enough to not care about desperately trying to make TIDAL happen.
June 19, 20187 yr I don't mind, I can listen to the album and gonna see their tour live on Saturday so all is well
June 19, 20187 yr Spotify premium is 9.99 a bloody month for Premium!!! Why are so many people listening to music for free? Two pints in a pub that is FFS.
June 19, 20187 yr Spotify premium is 9.99 a bloody month for Premium!!! Why are so many people listening to music for free? Two pints in a pub that is FFS. Stupid annoying adverts and actually being able to make your own playlists and less manipulation on what you listen too
June 19, 20187 yr It's number 1 on Itunes Oh just the way people are harping on I assumed it was streaming premium only my bad  then top 10 with ease surely in this sales climate
June 19, 20187 yr Is nothing sacred?! What next, classical versions of Sex Pistols songs? https://www.discogs.com/The-Royal-Philharmo...elease/12112191
June 20, 20187 yr I've only decked who the carters are now. Me2. :P The question is - why? They'd surely sell more as Beyonce & Jay-Z - they certainly have a proven track record as that!

June 20, 20187 yr hopefully Tiësto can hold on to the top 40 by the end of the week, and that's a great start for Nickiana too. we only have a top 40 so no idea how XXXTENTACION is doing so far.
