Us chart mods have received an update but only for the Top 50 at the moment, where Kylie doesn't appear.

^ #69 today!

~~~
Weekly sales & total:
#01 - 48,032 (+ 11 copies sold pre-release)
#04 - 13,319
#06 - 8,819
#10 - 5,697
#13 - 4,415
#13 - 3,634
#31 - 2,343
#38 - 2,373
#41 - 2,076
#38 - 2,348
#36 - 2,567
#66 - 1,500
Total: 97,133
(Those weekly figures actually add up to 97,134, but the official total is said to be 97,133 - not sure what the 1 sale discrepancy is!)
69
:kink:
13th week Top 75 potentially :w00t: Amazing when people were predicting 4-5 weeks before release and she is outselling so many of her female counterparts
With hope, she hangs on.
That said, in the last few weeks she has ended up lower on Friday than the Monday midweek position.
Thanks for completing this with accurate sales! Interesting that it actually increased in sales whilst dropping 31-38 and how 2,567 was only enough for #36 on week when 2,343 was enough for #31 another week.
Up to #28 on iTunes (#17 taking out compilations) :cheer: This must be due to R2 airplay?
Hopefully Golden can do enough to retain a Top 75 position.
A climb would be even greater.
Confirmed by the OCC that 'Golden' is the 14th biggest selling album of 2018 and the 4th biggest to be released in 2018, behind George Ezra, Post Malone and Arctic Monkeys, making Kylie the highest placed female.
Wonderful for Kylie.
If the album has further promotion and offers in the coming months it will help it sell further.
It is likely she will have competition for her position from Camila Cabello and Cardi B.
Camila's sold 96,255 so far (in 24 weeks), compared to Golden's 97,133 (in 12 weeks). Camila was midweek 67 yesterday and Golden #70.
Cardi B's sold 60,619, solely via downloads and streaming units. Currently she's not selling all that much more than Kylie is on a week by week basis (2,751 last week, compared to 1,500), so Invasion of Privacy won't be outselling Golden any time soon.
Anne-Marie is quite likely to overtake Kylie's sales eventually - she's sold 75,198 in 9 weeks and is currently still Top 20.
Cardi B and Camila are likely to have further success in the singles chart which will help them sell their albums for a longer period.
That said, for Kylie to be even on par with them on sales is more than an excellent result for Kylie.
Cardi, B, Camila Cabello and Anne Marie are likely at their peak of success and Kylie is right there with them 30 years into it.
