Relieved it held on, #41 would have been gutting lol. I'll be interested to see where Golden ended up on sales only.

Great result for Kylie today. KMS had no way this uplift on the tour so it is testament that people are connecting with the songs and buying the album.

I'm thrilled about that. I had a good feeling about it though.

That was close, i did say during the week i would be happy if Golden could return to the Top 40 even it was number 40.

It is also good to see the album didn't loose pace at the end of the week like it has done on numerous previous weeks.

 

Golden has certainly connected on a greater level than Kiss Me Once and the chart run of the album and sales back that up.

 

Golden sold 2138 this week and KM94 1587.

I wonder if KM94 was limited to 1,500 with the extra sales coming from downloads, streams and the other vinyl version that is still widely available?! If not it means there is still 1,000 copies out there.

I would be very interested to see from Golden's sales for this week how many came from streaming?

Lovely seeing it back in the top 40.It's having a really good chart run.

Glad it remained Top 40. I guess even though it has been making improvements on Apple Music streams, it was too little and too late in the week to stop other albums overtaking. Hopefully the London shows over the weekend and the tour continuing elsewhere will help its streams improve further. Would love to see it Top 40 again next week.

 

The tour has really helped encouraged sales of the album. X, Aphrodite and Kiss Me Once only returned to the Top 100 for a week or two due to the tour, although, in case of the former two albums, they had the advantage of bigger sales occurring earlier in their chart life. Still, the fact is that Golden is really connecting with people who may have just got tickets for the back catalogue.

It should easily overtake body language.

Good Q4 promo, a decent reissue and a winter single along with a push for the Sigala track could easily see the album up there with X, Light Years and Aphrodite for chart weeks.

Hopefully that will happen, it would be great if the re release Def has pens and can get noticed in q4 as it would extend the chart weeks and boost the sales much quicker.

After dropping down to #23 due to the influx of new releases the album is back up to #17 on iTunes (12th artist album overall). Also holding up well at #50 on Apple - Sigala’s album is #20 (Get those streams WYWF :cheer: )

Yep, I think it could easily be around the #50-55 mark this week but happy for another week T75 :cheer:

 

With the UK tour coming to an end it will probably fall out as she’ll be moving onto her European shows (Although hopefully by then she’ll give us an amazing multi-format reissue :P ).

Ya im expecting around 55 for this week. And yes, the multi format re release would be something great to rocket sales, fingers crossed they push ahead with it.

My expectations are high now for Q4 now that MTSWY has been confirmed for a November release along with TV promo - all we need now is details of the repackage which is hopefully more than the cassette!
