YEs great result for Liverpool tonight - one of the greatest results in the clubs history.

As for the next round anyone but the two Manchester teams as I can't be assed being nervous as hell lol. If the reds can't win it it would be a wonderful story for football if Ajax could actually do it.

Outright before the quarter-finals Odds (Coral)

Man City 12-5f

Barcelona 3-1

Juventus 4-1

Liverpool 5-1

Man Utd 12-1

Tottenham 14-1

Ajax 20-1

Porto 50-1

Anyone who bets on Manchester City to win the Champions League will be throwing money away. Always the favourites but never the champions!

I wouldn't put any money on it but I have a feeling they're going to win the whole lot. Bloody awesome team with the best manager in the world right now.

The problem City will have though is there are 3 teams which would whip a media frenzy up - Liverpool, Manchester United and Barcelona. If they avoid drawing any of those teams then they have a great chance, I mean we all know the likelihood is they will draw Porto :D

I can't see us beating them again if we meet them this year!

Of course we get barca! Can't wait tho we've beaten juve & PSG already so reasons to be confident. The winners of this will very likely get pool in the semis so an great half of the section.

Spurs vs City is interesting as it'll be s the new WHL by then. Likelihood is City get thru and play juve so hopefully an on-form Ronaldo takes them to the cleaners.

Quarter-Final Draw:

Ajax v Juventus

Liverpool v Porto

Tottenham v Manchester City

Barcelona v Manchester United

Barcelona see suspect to the counter and have no midfield at all like they used to. I actually think Man Utd have a decent chance if they make the most of the counter attacks they’ll get.

City have a great chance to get to the final, although likelihood is whoever they play there’s going to be a massive media frenzy..

Ajax

Liverpool

City

United

That will be the semifinals.

I just think this year's edition is too unpredictable to assume it'll be chalk at this point.

UEFA have really done us dirty by drawing us against Barcelona! The worst possible draw that we could have gotten, if we manage to get past Barcelona then we'll most likely face Liverpool in the semi final. Manchester City have a really good chance of making the final, I expect them to knock Tottenham out and then play Juventus in the semi final where hopefully Cristiano Ronaldo would be on top form.

Also because we finished lower than Manchester City in the Premier League table last season it means that we have to play our 1st leg at home and travel to the Camp Nou in the 2nd leg as both Manchester clubs cant play at home on the same week.

Barcelona aren't the force they once were though with Xavi and Inestia running the show. They have fantastic attacking players still, but they're not invincible. You'll get plenty of chances, but it's just whether your defence can hold up.

I think both sides of the draw are difficult, City have a fantastic chance to reach the final. But their April schedule is unreal, especially if they win at the weekend in the FA Cup. Strange thing is they actually have a really good chance at the Quadruple...

I'm not sure you can say any game at this stage is easy. I'm mean who's to say Ajax can't go all the way now or United can't win it?? Think Porto will give us a tough game too!

There are no easy games, but of all the teams left you would want Porto. It will be a difficult game but importantly mess media attention in what's an absolutely crucial part of the season.

I went to Munich for the Liverpool game and it was *.*

You went all the way to Munich to see Liverpool? I thought you were a Chelsea fan

Cristiano Ronaldo has been charged with improper conduct by Uefa for his celebration after beating Atletico Madrid to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The 34-year-old appeared to mimic Atletico boss Diego Simeone, who turned to fans and grabbed his crotch during his side's 2-0 first-leg victory.

Well, my pal is a mega Liverpool fan and he was able to get cheap tickets so we decided to have a piss up in Munich,Berlin and Hamburg, so why not
