Starting to feel over "I Like It" - a former #1 in my chart - it's so summery though! Shocked I got so into it though, as Cardi B isn't really to my taste. The sample is so powerful.

"Don't Matter To Me" is amazing, the best thing Drake has done since "One Dance" My current number 1 for a 3rd week. So disappointed it isn't the main single.

I swear "Youngblood" went top 10 last week - either I or Scott have short term memory

Years & Years are performing way better than I ever expected for this. It's alright, catchy, just lacking the dimensions and levels of their best songs.

It seems to love rebounding to number 6... from 8, then from 9, now from 10. Number 11 next week?

Biography

Showcasing the melismatic vocals of Olly Alexander, London's Years & Years artfully combine '80s-style ambient synth pop with funky electronic beats. The group came together in 2010 in London when multi-instrumentalists/producers Michael Goldsworthy and Emre Türkman met online while looking to start a band. They eventually added vocalist and actor Alexander after hearing him singing at a friend's house while taking a shower. The trio's keyboard and electronics-based sound first gained exposure when the single Traps was released on Kitsuné Music in 2013. The group's second EP, Real, came out in February 2014, and with some impressive live dates under their belts, Years & Years announced they had signed a deal with Polydor.

Their first major-label single, Take Shelter, appeared in August 2014, followed by a collaboration with the Magician on Sunlight a month later and by the release of Desire in November. In 2015, on the heels of winning the prestigious BBC Sound Of award, Years & Years released their debut full-length album, Communion. Well received, the album debuted at number one in the U.K., and peaked in the Top 50 of the U.S. Billboard 200. The following year, they were nominated for four BRIT Awards and contributed the single "Meteorite" to the Bridget Jones' Baby soundtrack. In 2018, they returned with the Kid Harpoon-produced single "Sanctify." - iTunes

Biography

5 Seconds of Summer (often abbreviated as 5SOS) are an Australian pop rock band from Sydney, New South Wales, formed in 2011. The group were originally YouTube celebrities, posting videos of themselves covering songs from various artists during 2011 and early 2012. They rose to international fame while touring with One Direction on their Take Me Home Tour.

In early 2014, the band released "She Looks So Perfect" as its debut single, which topped the charts in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and the United Kingdom. The self-titled debut studio album was released in June 2014, which peaked at number one in 11 countries and followed by a live album titled LiveSOS. The band released their second album Sounds Good Feels Good in October 2015 and followed up with the release of a live documentary DVD called How Did We End Up Here.

On 2 December 2016, the band announced the release of their B-sides and rarities previously unavailable worldwide under the title This Is Everything We Ever Said to celebrate their fifth anniversary as a band. Youngblood (2018) debuted at number one in Australia and the United States, where the group became the first Australian act to achieve three number-one albums. - Wikipedia

Could George possibly edge Drake out by the tiniest bit if streams really are missing?
"Jackie Chan" is one of the worst songs to hit the top 5 this year, what a pile of tripe.
Yay for Y&Y still avoiding the top 5 :P

Had 'Jackie Chan' stuck in my head a lot this week!

"I just ordered sushi from Japan" is a great line to have stuck in your head

"Jackie Chan" is very average for me. It sounds like a would-be hit from a few years ago. Weird that I can't remember his 2 top 10 hits from 2014 off the top of my head?! I liked when he first went a bit more commercial - the Nelly Furtado and Sneaky Sound System collabs were good - as was the Calvin Harris one. I think he's best remixing these days. His remix of Alan Walker's "Faded" was so good, it went off! Also the "What About Us" remix last year was great, and the "Silence" remix, for example.

--

"Youngblood" up to 4 :o we were worried this would stall outside the top 10 the other week! It continues to grow on me. Also my number 4 this week as it goes, third week in the top 10 and still climbing!

"Youngblood" managed 8 weeks at number 1 in Australia btw before being knocked off by Drake "In My Feelings" last week!

Jackie Chan is slowly starting to worm it’s way into my affections tbh
