I'll Be There and 2002 have had quite subdued falls for songs on ACR, a lack of data would explain that.

Good of them dubbing 'the law' though, such a horrible phrase that should never be used in public :kink:

I actually quite like this Rocky & Skepta track, reminds me of DMX's 'Who We Be'.

Also love Radio 1 blanking out 'the law'

Edited by coi

Radio 1 FINALLY playing 'Praise The Lord (Da Shine)' while I am listening!! Still not heard it until now as I was too lazy to look it up but it's sounding pretty great  glad to see it giving A$AP Rocky a decent sized hit.
pretty sure there's no missing data, if they don't have it delivered in time, the occ can estimate/make it up no problemo ;)

Biography

Jax Jones is a London-based DJ and producer whose sunny, uplifting house tracks incorporate a wide range of musical influences. Born Timucin Fabian Kwong Wah Aluo in 1987, he grew up listening to rap, gospel, Afro-beat, and numerous other genres, and began making beats as a teenager, initially as a hip-hop producer. He got into house music after meeting Duke Dumont, and the two collaborated on the song "I Got U," which became an immediate hit when it was released in early 2014, topping the U.K. singles chart. Jones released his debut single, "Yeah Yeah Yeah," in 2015, and co-wrote Dumont's summer hit "Ocean Drive." In 2016, Jones released the single "House Work," featuring British vocalist MNEK and Chicago house veteran Mike Dunn. Featuring vocals from U.K. singer RAYE, Jones' next single, "You Don't Know Me," became his biggest solo hit yet, reaching the Top Ten on numerous charts around the world. He followed up in 2017 with the Demi Lovato and Stefflon Don-assisted "Instruction." - iTunes

In terms of the "overall" sales - do they replace estimated Thursday streams with actual Thursday streams when counting their total sales I wonder?

Still not hugely fussed by "Ring Ring" - Jax Jones weakest single to date. It's alright though.

As we only get one Jax Jones single every 6 months, I really would rather he wasn't doing bland identikit stuff like this. :( I want at least one artist to rely on for the bangers.

Quite sure they don't - the OCC don't like "rewriting history"! A bit annoying really although I'm not sure what takes Spotify so long.

Cheat Codes

Los Angeles-based electronic trio Cheat Codes debuted in 2015 with their single "Visions," a floor-filling, radio-ready bite of house in a vein similar to Avicii and Swedish House Mafia. Each of the group's three members -- Matthew Russell, Trevor Dahl, and Kevin Ford -- has deep roots in L.A., working on individual projects before joining forces for Cheat Codes (Dahl once performed as singer/songwriter Pluginstereo). Their different backgrounds helped inform Cheat Codes' stylistically varied sound, which can range from warm pop to outright big house bangers. After the release of "Visions," they quickly followed with the tropical-tinged "Don't Say No" (featuring Dresses), "Senses" (featuring Lostboycrow), and "Adventure" (featuring Evan Gartner). As they gained exposure on social media and spins on streaming services, they joined the Chainsmokers on tour. Successive singles continued to drop in 2016, when they unveiled a pair of global hits: the top ten, multi-platinum "Sex" (featuring Kris Kross Amsterdam) and "Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)" (with Dante Klein). The following year they released their biggest feature yet, "No Promises" with Demi Lovato on vocals, and embarked on the No Promises world tour (taking them to the U.S., Europe, and Australia). The single was certified platinum in Australia, the U.S., and around Europe, peaking in the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. They followed their Lovato hit with "Feels Great," which featured Fetty Wap and CVBZ, and "Put Me Back Together" with Kiiara. In 2018, singles like "NSFW" (with Danny Quest) and "Balenciaga" maintained their exposure, while the trio provided remixes for high-profile singles by Thirty Seconds to Mars ("Dangerous Night") and Sean Paul ("Mad Love"). - iTunes

Little Mix

Little Mix are a British girl group formed in 2011 during the eighth series of the UK version of The X Factor. They were the first group to win the competition, and following their victory, they signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Music and released a cover of Damien Rice's "Cannonball" as their winner's single. The members are Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jesy Nelson.

Little Mix released their debut album DNA in 2012, which peaked inside the top 10 in ten countries including the UK and US. This made Little Mix the first girl group since the Pussycat Dolls to reach the US top five with their debut album, as well as earning the highest debut US chart position for a British girl group's first release, breaking the record previously held by the Spice Girls. The group's second album Salute (2013) became their second album to debut inside the top 10 in both the UK and US. Their third album Get Weird was released in 2015. Their fourth album Glory Days (2016) became their first number one album in the UK, and also achieved the longest-reigning girl group number one album since the Spice Girls' debut album 20 years earlier, and the highest first week UK album sales for a girl band since 1997. In the UK, the group has earned four number-one singles, including "Wings", "Black Magic" and "Shout Out to My Ex".

The group won Best British Single for "Shout Out to My Ex" at the 2017 Brit Awards; they have also received several other awards during their career, including two MTV Europe Music Awards, two Teen Choice Awards and two Glamour Awards. As of October 2016, the group has achieved four platinum certified albums and twelve certified singles in the UK. Little Mix appeared on Debrett's 2017 list of the most influential people in the UK. - Wikipedia

Poor How Ya Doin'? looking to be the only Little Mix single to miss out on the Top 15... and by only one position
As we only get one Jax Jones single every 6 months, I really would rather he wasn't doing bland identikit stuff like this. :( I want at least one artist to rely on for the bangers.

I think for dance bangers we need to just rely on random hits from who knows - like it used to be I guess - i.e. Loud Luxury, M-22, Au/Ra / CamelPhat, Dennis Lloyd in the chart this week.

--

"Only You" is okay, this sound is so one dimensional and hard to connect to. Finding that with a lot of dance-pop this year, such as "If You're Over Me", "Flames", "Back To You", "The Middle", etc.

@Dexton: "How Ya Doin'" was rubbish af

Edited by Midge

thought this was gonna be just outside the top 10
L Mix should definitely have passed on this when offered
