It was also used on Love Island last night too, which we’ve seen does have some impact. In any case, I really hope it can become a hit.

Same, it really deserves more success in the UK than it's had so far.

For some reason Born to Be Yours isn't included in the Dance chart, neither is Jackie Chan or Rise. Yet Ring Ring is. How do they decide?

Off topic but next week will be 15 years since Blu Cantrell's 'Breathe' went to No.1. Such a surprise when that happened, I heard it months before it's release, and none of my mates had even heard of it!!

I remember the week it came out and purchased it, saw the mids and was shocked when it was heading to the top. I genuinely thought it would go to No. 12 or something :P LOL and sink without a trace. It wasn't on radio that much prior to it's release as well.

IIRC Radio 1 initially rejected it from the playlist and had to correct their mistake the week it was released when they saw how well it was selling! It was very big on the video channels though.

Both (co-)produced by Nic Nac as well. And both released following underperforming lead singles that featured Jay-Z and Beyoncé.

Can't wait for the Rihanna collab next then

DJ Khaled should re-release I'm On One. It would actually make the top 40 this time, and it's still his best song out of the ones I've heard.

What's the sense in that? Genuinely?

Both versions of 'In My Feelings' are now visible again, they're at #23 and #25 so I guess the top version must have been briefly deleted? I'm sure it'll be back up to #2 pretty quickly anyway.

It's based on what genre the songs are categorised as on iTunes, which is presumably a label decision. Kygo & ID are under 'pop'. Having said that though, 'Rise' and 'Jackie Chan' are in the dance chart for me? (And they are under 'dance' indeed).

Ah, I was talking about the Official Chart.

It seems really strange that they put 'Mama' in the dance chart but not 'Rise', they are so similar.

They also excluded By Your Side from the dance chart which was the most bizarre case I've ever seen.

And Symphony wasn't included either but all of CB's singles around it were.

Was it a late add to radio 1s playlist? I always thought it was never added like Moves Like Jagger wasn't (but subsequently got loads of random plays)!

Yes, Breathe was never added to the playlist - it didn't even get random plays like Moves Like Jagger or Start Without You.

Pleased that Dj Khaled is dropping. When something is overhyped by the artist it always ends in disaster!

I think DJ Khaled has always overhyped himself, it didn't stop I'm the One and Wild Thoughts being huge! :P
