As we don't have an actual Steps forum, which from their 5 studio albums is the best for you?

Their debut ofc for the sheer iconic-ness. Tears on the Dancefloor is definitely a close second.

Their debut was strong and the tracks outside the singles were highly enjoyable.

Overall, i think all their studio albums are extremely strong with the exception of Light Up The World which in large is disappointing.

I think TOTD is their best album. It's really accomplished.

I think that TOTD is their strongest album but Step One is my personal favourite I love it so much :wub: :wub: :wub:

 

All their albums bar LUTW are actually really decent I'm a big fan!

TOTD was everything we could have hoped for.

To their absolute credit i don't think they could have came back any better while also keeping the sound their fans love.

The marketing and promotion of the TOTD era was also highly impressive.

 

This aside, my vote is Step One, i think it was the ideal debut album and it lived up to the standard of the singles.

I do think it was a nice nod to the past on the artwork for TOTD giving a nod to the Step One Artwork.

Buzz, closely followed by Tears On The Dancefloor. Light Up The World is a bit crap, but the others both have AMAZING singles and a few good album tracks but also some absolute dreck.

Step one for me, I remember when I had a first listen and loving it and I still enjoy the album. Apart from light up the world I like all the others and all were worth buying.

I only have the first three albums. The first one is so good, bar Experienced & Too Weak To Resist. I was less keen on Steptacular, and less again with Buzz...... so didn't really bother with them after that.

Tears on the dance floor is their best followed by buzz!

I found buzz a little disappointing when it was released as it wasn't as instant as their first two albums but I like it a lot now. I really am looking forward to the next album.

Claire is doing Strictly which will be great for her and keeps the Steps brand in the public eye in addition to Claire's solo album until Steps themselves release their new studio album.
