The single choices were Def badly selected on kiss me once which didn't help at all. With the 2 albums I didn't know how the vote would go but I'm not surprised by the outcome.

I think with 'I Was Gonna Cancel' they were clearly banking on Pharrell's name in 2014 as he was the man of the moment, but let's be real she was doomed by that point and nothing would have even made a dent.

Yes, they banked on the Pharrell name getting a hit with it and it clearly did not work.

They clearly should have gone with a different single.

But would anything else have performed any differently?

I don't see how she would have gotten another top 40 single regardless.

Maybe not but the fans may have possibly enjoyed it more and would have liked a better single as part of the cd single collection.

Beautiful was originally selected as the 2nd single from KMO, highly doubt that would have done any better even with Enriques name attached, even if released after IWGC, it would have still most probably bombed as the damage was already done,

Plus the awful reception to Sexercise didn't help either. Anyway still voted for KMO as I'd prefer that over the x-mas album as apart from a few decent tracks, it's mainly bogged down by fillers, such as some of those dodgy covers. KMO wasn't all that great either, but it still had a few great moments, especially the 2 bonus tracks which were better than the majority of the whole thing.

Interestingly IWGC is one of the most sought after/collectible Kylie releases - The picture disc 7’ commands a £70+ price tag, black vinyl £45+, Purple vinyl £100+, CD £60+, Promo CD £45+
Would many people think both albums are the weakest of her studio albums?Golden really was a great turn around after these I feel.

I didn't know that :o I bought the CD and picture disc bundle that was available at the time - pretty sure it was only £10!

I got them fairly cheap at the time too and even then I begrudge spending money on it as I don't like the song at all, it was only a purchase for collection purposes only.

For me, the two weak ones are Kiss Me Once and Body Language. Even though it's kinda new, I still think that Kiss Me Once will forever be my least played Kylie album.

There is a great album in 'KMO' somewhere, especially if you scrap the weak moments and put on there some of the unreleased tracks in it's place, not counting the 'Sleepwalker EP' sessions. 'Sugar High', 'Sparks', 'Voodoo', 'Golden Boy', 'Waiting 4 The Sun' & even 'Crystalize', I know 2 of these were released as a b-side and standalone charity single, but they deserved to be on the album, instead of half the crappy fillers that did end up on there.

Really felt that Kylie's label had let her down again on this one, as she on was on the cusp of making something truly great and could have been up there with some of her best albums to date, something with some truly great potential. Why did songs like "Million Miles", "I Was Gonna Cancel", "Sexercise", "Beautiful" and maybe 'Feels So Good' which should have been tweaked a bit.

I've made my own possible version of the 'KMO' album with half of what ended on there mixed with the unreleased tracks, as follows =

1. Into The Blue
2. Sparks
3. Voodoo
4. Mr President
5. Sexy Love
6. Golden Boy
7. Waiting 4 The Sun
8. If Only
9. Sleeping With The Enemy
10. Les Sex
11. Kiss Me Once
12. Sugar High
13. Fine
14. Crystalize
*Bonus Edition*
15. Yo-Yo
16. Skirt

To a point I agree with this, the selection of songs that made the album was a bad move as so many better songs were left off. It was just a mess of an album in the end and it didn't need to be.

I'm really surprised how close these 2 are. 'Kiss Me Once' was her bleak moment, but the Christmas one was an atrocious one to me.

I always find it interesting how much people dislike KMO - it’s well up there in my most listen to Kylie albums! It could have been better but overall I think it’s a solid album.

Looking back on Christmas it could have benefited from playing to her audience and being a bit more camp - I think it was just a ‘get out of the Parlophone’ deal album rather than another Greatest Hits.

The Christmas album could Def have been a lot more camp and I think it would have made it better. I wonder how kylie feels about the Xmas album,I remember Leona Lewis saying she was made do her one and she didn't really want to do it.
