test drive | First Week Sales: 8,655

Glad that 'positions' has comfortably passed 100k+ now and is sitting in the YTD top 20 *.*

Bring on 'Rain On Me' passing a million! That has just had a little boost thanks to the International Women's Day Hot Hits overhaul <3

From Music Week: 301,131 for 'Don't Call Me Angel' as of w/e 4th March 2021.

Ooo it's a slow crank for that one, it'll go Gold sometime in the next decade for sure.

The average works out as ~1.6k a week since 19th December 2019 when it was certified Silver, however it was shifting 6k just two weeks before that date so it will be selling a lot lower than that average now. Probably have to wait for the middle of the decade before it's Gold!

Blimey! Thanks for doing the Maths!

DCMA stans are being fed as there's now an OCC Lana article with this song in it

6. Don't Call Me Angel (Charlie's Angels Theme) (2019)

Official Chart peak: 2

UK chart sales: 303,000

Lana's most recent entry in her all-time Top 10 is also her most commercial pop moment; a collaboration with Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus for the Charlie's Angels 2019 reboot. Helmed by super producer Max Martin, the finished result didn't quite live up to its hype, but Lana should be commended for not comprimising her moody aesthetic on this slick pop banger.

I've updated the thread!

My Everything spent its 299th week inside the Top 200 on Fri 9th April, and in the midweeks on Mon 12th April it was #181, so it seems like 300 weeks is guaranteed on Friday! Rather shockingly though it was higher in those midweeks than thank u, next, which was midweek #196. If thank u, next remains lower than My Everything on Friday, that'll be the first time that My Everything places higher than that album.

Honestly the tenacity of My Everything seems so strange to me... for it to be regularly ahead of Dangerous Woman & Sweetener is one thing, but now it's on the verge of outdoing thank u, next on a weekly basis

Thanks so much for the update Jay!

I'm going to assume that that 'My Everything' is remaining strong due to it's 5 smash hit singles vs the other 2 albums that only had 3 singles, that seems to play such a huge part of the album charts these days. If Ariana chooses to release an International 'Greatest Hits' at some point it probably won't leave the charts until the next millennium.

^ Imagine that! Maybe she should consider it, after all The Weeknd's compilation is doing rather well!

Chart updates:

My Everything's 300th week in the chart is confirmed :cheeseblock: It climbed to #170, with 895 sales. 29 physicals + 8 downloads, 858 streaming.

thank u, next rallied in the end - it's #154 with 949 sales. 54 physicals, 3 downloads and 892 streaming.

Dangerous Woman has re-entered for its 216th week in the chart, at #196. 831 sales (Surprisingly it has relatively strong physical sales - 84 copies! - as well as 6 downloads and 741 streaming).

Not forgetting that Positions climbed to #4! 5,010 sales. 3,389 are physicals, just 6 downloads :o and 1,615 streaming. I fear its drop this week if its physical sales collapse...

In the singles chart, only Met Him Last Night is in the Top 100 - down 10 places to #54.
