September 3, 20187 yr If anything Dreamer will get a re-entry into the Dance chart which will be nice to see.
September 3, 20187 yr Revival did 132k first week Will be interesting to see what this album opens with!
September 4, 20187 yr but funnily in the US, Kamikaze is gonna do better than Revival Loving what I'm hearing and will buy the CD on Friday if our Asda has it. Only a 45 minute album this time compared to 75 minutes+ for most of his others. Amazon now want £2.99 delivery if you're not on Prime. Serve them right if they lose sales to supermarkets. September 4, 20187 yr alesso's latest had 1.5 million views on youtube yesterday, never seen anything like that in a single day, think most I've seen is 500K x maroon 5, might be enough to chart on yt alone?

September 4, 20187 yr 18 David Guetta feat. Anne-Marie - Don't Leave Me Alone This is one of the worst songs to go top ten this year (assuming it'll go there and it most likely will)
September 4, 20187 yr 18 David Guetta feat. Anne-Marie - Don't Leave Me Alone This is one of the worst songs to go top ten this year (assuming it'll go there and it most likely will) It is one of Guetta's poorest efforts. Shame as his previous tracks this year have been quite good.
September 4, 20187 yr Yea Flames was decent! But I find it weird that Guetta, Garrix and Zedd to some extent have totally stopped releasing DANCE music and at the same time Calvin Harris is releasing house tracks and ruling the charts with every release. Edited September 4, 20187 yr by SKOB
September 4, 20187 yr Eminem album is a massive surprise, his best in a long long time. Anyone seen Machine Gun Kelly embarrass himself with his response.
September 4, 20187 yr Nice to see Calvin pull away from Benny even the slightest. I just hope Calvin gets his turn at the top on Friday
September 4, 20187 yr Yea Flames was decent! But I find it weird that Guetta, Garrix and Zedd to some extent have totally stopped releasing DANCE music and at the same time Calvin Harris is releasing house tracks and ruling the charts with every release. These artists have sold their souls, and have zero respectability anymore as a result. The baffling thing is I'm sure they could just as easily score hits if they did something that was remotely true to their sound, as people are having hits with actual proper dance tracks. I don't get the need.
September 4, 20187 yr Well Garrix to be fair had to change to stay relevant, he was only known for his big room sound & that was possibly the shortest shelf-life I've ever seen with a genre (late 2013-mid 2014). I do feel he has gone too far though & songs like Ocean exemplify that. I don't feel Zedd's deviated that much over the years. Songs like Clarity & Stay The Night would have zero chance of becoming hits in the current era imo anyway.

It makes me wonder to be honest with you, considering how these all started out with the passion for the style of music they were making if they even like the music they're currently putting out.
September 4, 20187 yr Probably not to be honest! (And the tracks they do still make clearly not designed to be commercial are only ever categorised as 'hype' tracks or just random bits & bobs they throw on YouTube).
