The EMAs performance is definitely my favourite so far! I feel like Nicki being present played a huge part, just because her verse goes on for so long that it's a bit awkward for Little Mix to have to fill that time dancing around until it finishes when she's not there :lol: but it was fab anyway, as aforementioned they had great chemistry with Nicki, what a surreal moment that must've been for them. Teen Awards performance was fun too, I wasn't a fan of the white backdrop at the beginning of their X Factor performance tbh so that immediately meant that this one also got off to a better start.

Woman Like Me had its second highest day of streaming since release yesterday on Spotify (The first was release day).

Wouldn't be surprised to see it peak in streams either tomorrow or over the weekend?

are you serious? Have you even seen the performance? Nicki looked beyond horrible and sounded awful as if she was doing a parody performance. The fact that LM have to be associated with an act like that.....ew.

I agree with Jade, loved the performance but then Nicki just has such natural presence, one of the best of any modern day artist. She did look like she didn’t really know what the choreography was with the girls at the end but I feel like it played into the fun and natural looking relationship they both had.

I think the peak streams may come next Friday when LM5 is released.

It’ll probably fall out of the top 10 on iTunes now but it streaming should keep it high enough to stay top 5 next week. Hopefully they put the discount back on on album release week.

The girls have already clarified via their messages that they wanted Nicki Minaj or else they weren’t doing it (along with changing some of the lyrics). And i’d say you didn’t really win cause the songs looks to be pretty successful which means that the girls will continue to perform it and you’ll have to hear it more and more.

I don’t like her that much either but there’s video evidence of the girls saying that Nicki is their top choice of collab for the past 7 years. Do you think they photoshopped that group message that said they wanted Nicki on the track? Why would they make sure to point out the date if they were lying about Nicki being asked first? Knowing full well that Cardis not afraid to post receipts and if she’s been approached before the 24th of July she would call them out on it.

 

Anyway, the girls didn’t like the idea of the label shoehorning a song written for another artist onto an album they’d worked really hard on. It was made clear that Jess Glynne was pissed off that their LABEL stole it from her as she said she wanted it for her album and was even thinking about making it lead single. Which is really shit on Syco's behalf.
