Posted September 8, 20187 yr http://i.imgur.com/kWN4fNn.png Calvin Harris & Sam Smith should be heading for a second week atop the singles chart. It's the week of collabs on the new releases front, notably Silk City & Dua Lipa's Electricity, and Kanye West & Lil Pump's new viral hit I Love It, with others from Sigala, Machine Gun Kelly, Dizzee Rascal, MK and Hozier (as part of his comeback EP) Eminem's Kamikaze can notch another week at #1 with its physical release and strong streaming, Paul McCartney's latest record Egypt Station may be the closest competition. Expect a fairly high debut for Paul Simon's In The Blue Light, and new entries from Spiritualized, Lenny Kravitz, Alter Bridge, Paul Carrack, Teleman and more. Mac Miller could also return to the chart following his unfortunate death yesterday. Breakdown of the week - Saturday and Sunday: Information on Twitter from MintRoyale only. Please do not make requests, we do not have any information other than what's posted. - Monday: OCC Top 100 + Radio 1 Chart Update 5:30pm to 5:45pm. - Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. September 8, 20187 yr Last paul mccartney album did 15k on week 1 Its not like all Beatles fans buy his solo albums
September 9, 20187 yr I was wondering if any Mac Miller albums would re-enter, I was surprised to find out he's highest placed album only got to number 37, didn't have the success over here that he's had in the US
September 9, 20187 yr Hoping to see Kylie back in the Top 75 albums this week with Golden after the Hyde Park concert. Rick Astley may benefit too which is good.
September 10, 20187 yr Kanye West & Lil Pump coming fast for that #1 single :nocheer: I'm all for a new #1 but urban music seems to be dominating the top spot lately, cough Drake, Lil Dicky & Chris Brown cough
September 10, 20187 yr Worried that Electricity will be blocked from #1 by that Kanye and Lil Pump song as well as Little Mix's forthcoming single :( real shame as it's far better than I Love It and whatever that new LM song will end up being Edited September 10, 20187 yr by Tedward

September 10, 20187 yr Paul McCartney is likely front loaded and could end up number 4. Not too impressed with Greatest Showman ahead of Mamma Mia 2.
September 10, 20187 yr The singles chart looks very weird. Kanye already at #7 and Silk City only at #15 :o I thought it would be the other way round at this point. Edited September 10, 20187 yr by Jason
September 10, 20187 yr I presume 'I Love It' is being helped a lot by YouTube views? Definitely wasn't expecting that to already be top 10 in the first update though!
September 10, 20187 yr I presume 'I Love It' is being helped a lot by YouTube views? Definitely wasn't expecting that to already be top 10 in the first update though! It's #1 on video streams by a VERY clear way so far!
