I think that’s just so it can link to her account properly for now.

It’s nice but it really does fall flat for a first listen, I was expecting it to take off with the best drop with the line about being someone else’s baby.

I love Clean Bandit, but this song is atrocious.

 

Marina sounds like a strangled cat and the song goes nowhere, has the pointless Luis feature and jumps on the tired latino pop which feels like it went out of fashion ages ago.

 

 

 

The video really brings the song to life for me! :wub: It feels like a classic telenovela without appropriating Latin culture.

 

I found the song a little plodding on the first listen but after a couple of plays, I love Marina's build up to each chorus. I definitely think this will be a #1 contender in the coming months.

i hope this becomes a big hit but I wouldn’t even be surprised if it ended up peaking at #11 just for the curse. I want to see Marina all over the TV this Christmas. I can see there being lots of big promo lined up because it’s leading the album. I think I saw they were confirmed for the Royal Variety again?

Disappointing. Decent enough song but surely they must have something better in the waiting for the album?

Can Marina stay away

Yeah this isn’t the song that should’ve be leading the album. It’s incredibly annoying that they’ve going for the Latin trend that disappeared months ago. Marina’s vocals are boring and Luis adds nothing to the song whatsoever.

I think it's great, but then I also loved I Miss You so I tend to prefer their more understated stuff. It's certainly an improvement on Solo. And it clearly sounds like Clean Bandit.

 

I don't think Luis Fonsi is needed though, despite the latin vibe.

Not thrilled on first listen. Marina sounds great but she's doing ALL the heavy lifting here - this might as well be a Marina song. Fonsi is an odd collab choice, feels a bit late in the day to be releasing this, if this was March or so that would be stronger. November...a bit off.

 

What exactly is the Clean Bandit selling point on this? Isn't their whole thing classical isntruments melded in to their sound? Feels a bit against their M.O.

 

Might grow but this is not instant for me at all.

I'm obsessed with both song and video 😍 I don't remember the last time a music video had such replayability for me (probably not since "New Rules") but this has completely nailed it. Deserves to be #1 for weeks ❤
