It's been seven years since One Direction kickstarted their Up All Night campaign with lead single and #1 hit What Makes You Beautiful - but what's your favourite from the boys' début album? Are there any album tracks that should have been a single, something that was but definitely shouldn't have been a single, or are they perfect as they are? My favourite from the era is What Makes You Beautiful. Both an incredibly infectious and wonderful pop song; the perfect way for them to bounce into the charts! :wub: I do still have a soft spot for Gotta Be You despite it probably being their biggest misfire (I probably wouldn't release another song in its place though given the option - there's not really another album track I'd swap in, and More Than This is a nice bookend).

One Thing, was always one of my favorite songs and i just love the video.

I'd say 'More Than This' definitely should have been the second single over 'Gotta Be You'. In fact, I have a big soft spot for all the singles here except that one.

 

I'd say my favourite is 'One Thing'.

What Makes You Beautiful is definitely the best, not just from this album but from their entire discography (and boybands in general).
