The negative press she’s had is so bad.

Like where’s was Ellie’s when her latest track debuted far lower than what Cheryl’s did.

Even Jess Glynnes Thursday debuted lower than #19 and that’s probably Christmas #1.

All of Rita’s singles from Phoenix debuted outside the top ten too.

It’s too far what people have been saying of Cheryl and untrue. I know she’s a different artist to those mentioned but it’s not that bad how she’s done. I still think people have no idea how streaming works and how the charts tend to work in 2018.

Was it mentioned anywhere she was actually #3 on sales?

I feel for her but I do feel she’ll recover from this. I really hope we get an album.

This will just be her Perfect Illusion, I’m confident the next thing she releases she’ll be better prepared for and will probably have better promo for opening week.

Cheryl's stage for Graham Norton!

Love Made Me Do It is now only 59p on iTunes, as is the new remix!

I'm really excited for her performance tonight! Do we know if she's being interviewed during the show or only after her performance?

Just after her performance.

I was already a fan of the original but this Initial Talk remix is fab! It does breathe more life into the track and it's got that lush, chilled vibe that made the likes of 'One Kiss' a success. Cheryl would probably best to start promoting this version.

The original is currently #48 (also, NOW 101 version is at #318 and the clean version is at #788) whilst the Initial Talk remix is #134, both versions discounted to 59p.

Number 59 in the official charts today.

Wonder if the GN boost / 59p / remix will bring it low top 40 again.

I guess it all depends on the boost. should bring it back up into the 40's though.

I was actually surprised it didn't drop further this week, genuinely thought she'd be lower Top 100 if not out.

The discount doesn't seem to have had the greatest of effects so far, it climbed from #60 to #46 this morning but has dropped to #58 with a dark red update just now. I miss when they used to advertise the discounts.

I expected it to fall from the Top 75 this week.

With promotion coming it will help sustain its position.

Oh I really love the Initial Talk remix! I wasn't keen on first listen because I was expecting it to sound like their "New Rules" remix but now the initial disappointment has faded, I'm really loving it. I've never actually watched one of these vertical videos that the industry is trying to make a thing but I thought this one was excellent and Cheryl looked stunning. A shame she didn't use the pink hair look in the official video.

A really solid performance on Graham. I liked that she kept the routine the same as the X Factor for the most part and her vocals were stronger overall.

It's up to #35 on iTunes (from #59) so hopefully she makes more upward strides tomorrow.

I enjoyed the performance! Maybe more so than The X Factor performance actually.

Also really liking the Initial Talk Remix, it makes it sound like it's a big hit from the 90s haha.

The performance was better than the X Factor one; I noticed she seemed a lot more confident. Unfortunately I still found myself getting bored half way through. I enjoy the song but I just don't think it's one that works particularly well live. As I said in my previous post, she'd be better off performing the Initial Talk remix.
