Confirmed as the second single (*) from his self-titled third album. The new version of the song, which was remixed by Zedd, will be out on September 27 at midnight EST / 5am. BST.

 

 

(*) I guess it will be the third in the UK following "Nervous", which was sent to radio and it was playlisted by Capital FM in June. However, this is debatable as well. Either way, you could check the press release here.

Ok this isn't so bad. The verses don't sound particularly great though quality wise.

I’m so confused why they didn’t just record a new song together instead of this, it would have been a guaranteed Top 20 it if not Top 10 and it could’ve helped re-launch Shawn’s album for a re-release with effective single support..

Well listening to the remix this morning and its turned the song into soulless crap. I really don't get the thinking behind this at all and how this whole album campaign has gone.

It's so hard to believe at that point I considered Zedd an exciting producer with potential when you look at where he is now. :(

This is absolutely terrible, it strips away the whole sexy funky vibe that fits the lyrics and theme of the song, mangles his vocals and just makes it horribly bland and generic.

Yeah this isn't good. He's completely ripped the heart out of the song. I don't understand why they've replaced the chorus with a drop as well? Hopefully this is just a remix to pick up sales and they're going to push the album version.

This doesn't really bother me as much as it should. The original is, and always will be, excellent and far more interesting. It's far from being amazing by any standard, but I can accept it for what it probably will be - played in clubs for a while / a sales booster.
