They've accidentally added the Intimate and Live performance of Put Yourself in My Place on Spotify instead of the radio mix. :P

Also, all of CD1 (aside Dancing and Stop Me From Falling) are from the original album source rather than the new album upload (look at the artwork when you play the songs).

Some people have downloaded this from the Kylie store, apparently on that they've accidentally put 'Did it Again' in place of 'Timebomb'.

Somebody at BMG is clearly a fan of Kylie’s premium IP work :smoke:

Looking on Popjustice, apparently the Parlophone tracks come from the original sources and not the greatest hits themselves because of BMG not owning them. That'll explain why tracks are album only on iTunes too.

Q4Music explains the 'Put Yourself in My Place' issue:

I can now see what's happened. Somewhere along the line (in 2006, just after Warner Australia acquired Kylie's Festival Mushroom catalogue for Aus & NZ) the ISRC for the radio mix of PYIMP has been incorrectly assigned to to the live version on Intimate & Live as well. So if this has bled into the international releases by BMG as well, it will still have been Warner Australia's fault.

 My emails have just blown up with multiples of this -

Is it fair to suggest that 'Did It Again' was on the original tracklisting and eventually replaced with 'Timebomb', but BMG just forgot to change it?

That's what I thought. I heard 'Timebomb' wasn't originally on there until it was fought to be included.

I’m pleased TB has finally found a home but would have loved DIA to be included too - in terms of sales/chart performance it’s probably the most successful from IP (not that that’s saying much  ).

I downloaded the album from iTunes and it’s also the incorrect version on there and not just Spotify :(

A shame about the wrong Put Yourself in My Place version, apparently it's also live on the physicals too? :(

Has anyone had a full listen to the track list yet? Do you like the sequencing or is there anything you'd change? Also do you prefer the standard track list or deluxe? I think the standard one makes more sense!

People are confirming it's the correct version on physical copies. Her team have also been correcting the error on digital platforms (although it's yet to be corrected on Spotify).

I listened to CD1 in a Spotify playlist someone made a few weeks back and I think the run works really well (this one had the tracking list with 'Breathe' on the second disc and 'New York City' on the first). Having 'Dancing' so early on amongst all those big hits actually fits perfectly; it's really established itself as a Kylie classic. Still yet to listen to CD2 - at first look, it seems strange having 'What Do I Have to Do' near the end, so far away from the other Rhythm of Love tracks.

The seem to have really screwed up this - now getting e-mails about ‘Especially For You’ from her store:

I can see this having strong stability after Glasto, it seems to have had a similar reaction to Dolly's set and she was top 10 in the album charts for ages after her performance.

#1 in the mids with 21k, more than double Lewis.

Great, she hopefully looks safe, although I can see Lewis getting some good sales for the rest of the week.

This is such a great collection, so well sequenced. Ultimate Kylie was already one of my all-time favourite hits albums and this is even better, with the inclusion of her most significant singles of the last 15 years plus Your Disco Needs You, which is THE great lost Kylie single in my eyes, and should have been a double-a side with Please Stay.

A few of my personal faves are missing (Chocolate, Some Kind of Bliss), but I can understand why. It doesn't feel any less comprehensive a collection without those, Giving You Up etc. I guess a special edition three-disc version with the missing singles and some other big album tracks/b-sides/rarities (Can't Get Blue Monday, Made of Glass, White Diamond etc) might have been nice but was probably asking too much at this point.

I do hope it's another No.1 album for her.

21k :yahoo: :cheer:

The reports of 15k in pre-orders were correct then - hopefully a big boost in sales today to contribute to that figure.
