Posted September 27, 20186 yr Today, it will be announced which country between Germany and Turkey will host Euro 2024. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45601473 Who do you want to host Euro 2024 and why?
September 27, 20186 yr Germany will be the hosts, the first time they have hosted the tournament as a unified country. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45666950
September 27, 20186 yr Final in Berlin! Stadiums used typically are used by/belong to: Hertha Berlin, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Schalke, Stuttgart, Hamburg SV, Fortuna Düsseldorf (has hosted Eurovision recently), FC Köln, RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt. Meaning that again Borussia-park misses out despite being similarly sized to a lot of stadiums in Germany, missing out on the 2006 WC (hosted the Woman's WC in 2011 so it's a properly accredited stadium). f***ers our stadium is great! And Mönchengladbach is maybe 1k people smaller than Gelsenkirchen so it's nothing to do with it being a small city
September 27, 20186 yr England really misses out a lot in these tournaments - only had the WC in 1966 & euros in 96 whereas World Cup and euros have been in France & Germany in my lifetime!!
September 28, 20186 yr Author Should be a great tournament, they did a great job when they hosted the 2006 World Cup. Couldn't see how Turkey could have hosted the tournament.
September 28, 20186 yr Would have been nice for someone like Turkey to take it but it does make sense with all the infrastructure Germany has.
