Fourth Round Draw

Swansea v Gillingham

Wimbledon v West Ham

Shrewsbury or Stoke v Wolves

Millwall v Everton

Brighton v West Brom

Bristol City v Bolton

Accrington v Derby or Southampton

Doncaster v Oldham

Chelsea v Sheffield Wednesday or Luton

Newcastle or Blackburn v Watford

Middlesbrough v Newport

Manchester City v Burnley

Barnet v Brentford

Portsmouth v QPR

Arsenal v Manchester United

Crystal Palace v Tottenham

Terrible performance and always annoying to lose, but when you make 9 chances and your centre back goes off injured after 5 minutes it's always going to be tough! Shame we didn't get any luck with the draws in the domestic cups this year, but clearly we have our eyes on bigger prizes this season.

Must say I thought the 16 year old Hoever was fantastic.. if he can keep up that trajectory he is going to be some player!

Largely a poor 4th round draw as well, the only game that stands out is Arsenal vs Manchester United. Would have liked to have seen Barnet get a good draw!

I had a feeling early on that Wolves would win, it looked like Liverpool couldn't be bothered and thought "it's only the FA Cup, who cares?" when in reality this could have been a very good chance of winning a trophy this season. If/When they throw the league away they will very likely find themselves trophyless yet again.

Arsenal away is one of the worst draws that we could have got but I am confident that we'll beat them but I think it will probably be a draw at the Emirates which would mean a replay at Old Trafford about a week later. Crystal Palace Vs Tottenham should be quite an entertaining match.

I didn't even think Wolves played that great. I've seen them play a lot better and they should have exposed us a lot more than they did. Not sure it wasn't that we couldn't be bothered, it just very much looked like a team that had never played together against a good team at home. Every other Top 6 rotated a lot too, just different levels of game difficulty. Guess we'll see come the weekend where anything other than 3 points will feel like a defeat.

That's a real marathon of football to watch and here in Ireland,we get a Saturday 3pm live match as well so I can watch 8 out of the 16 matches if I want to.
The BBC is also showing the FA Cup third round replay between Southampton and Derby live on Wednesday.

Do we??

  • 2 weeks later...

Comfortable win for us against Arsenal, I never felt on edge or nervous at any point during tonight's match. The Emirates Stadium really is a library!

8 wins out of 8 under Ole now. The winning run will certainly come to an end at some point but hopefully we'll keep it going for as long as we can.

Really? I only watched it from the 40 minute mark but I thought Arsenal were much the better side. You can see what they need to do to improve. But they are still largely horribly inconsistent. I thought that save Romero made was the key moment of the match - brilliant save. Think if that went in it's a completely different game.

Hopefully this means Solskjaer manager now :D

I don't think they were "much" better, both teams had periods where they were playing better than the other but Arsenal never looked very worrying during the match apart from the header which resulted in Romero's save and once Martial scored the 3rd goal that was the end of the match really.

I hope it means Ole Gunnar Solskjaer gets the job as well, I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be offered it.

Yes, the Martial goal killed the game off, but I thought Arsenal did more with the ball, they lacked a final pass or didn't make the right movement. But there wasn't that much between the teams at all.

Arsenal had a lot more with the ball,.just couldn't convert it. Was there a coin thrown during the match?
I thought we controlled the game well. Yes that romero save was key but they never really threatened aside from that. Always felt more confident that we would score a third before they would get a second.
Good chance for Man Utd and Man City to win this now - half of the Top 6 are out! Probably means everyone is likely to get favourable draws up until the Quarter Finals too..
