October 8, 20187 yr I don’t think Marshstille will ever have a shot at #1 as Little Mix release their next single before Calvin and Sam are due to hit ACR I really don't think Little Mix are guaranteed anything at this point. Only You wan't a lead single nor was it fully theirs, but it flopped a bit in its first week even though it was their first new music in ages. Bastille could still sneak a week in I think!

They are SO HUGE in the UK and their lead will be super super massive.

October 8, 20187 yr I do hope you're right! SOTME managed to go straight in at #1 despite only having 5 days of sales Edited October 8, 20187 yr by Hadji
October 8, 20187 yr SOTME managed to straight in at #1 despite only having 5 days of sales With an X Factor performance though (and it was a 'surprise' first listen too)
October 8, 20187 yr SOTME managed to go straight in at #1 despite only having 5 days of sales Yeah, things are quite different this time, I do think they have a chance and I hope they did, but their huge debut X Factor performance obviously played a massive part last time.

October 8, 20187 yr Can't believe ASIB is losing to this disappointing album and yes I love 21P but it's really weak.
October 8, 20187 yr Can't believe ASIB is losing to this disappointing album and yes I love 21P but it's really weak. ASIB is outselling Trench now, it's actually going to be quite a close race!
October 8, 20187 yr Great sales for 21P there! I'm surprised YMA6 are so low, I thought they'd be on at least 12k by now! Really happy to see MK Top 20 over on the singles and Lady GaGa in the Top 10 :) Edited October 8, 20187 yr by gavindeejay
October 8, 20187 yr Author oh wow they've passed 20k already  pretty great for TOP even if Gaga/Bradley overtake in the end
October 8, 20187 yr Dave starting at #2!! Would be great if he could hold a top 3 position that'd be the biggest UK rap debut of the year. The prospect of Lil Baby getting two chart hits this week too. *_ Drip Too Hard is a bit of a choon tho, I could see that sticking around. Wasn't expecting 'Venom' to appear either though the film it is tied to must be helping it a lot now that it's out. And most importantly, wow at MK going top 20!!! Glad he's set to have another major hit.
October 8, 20187 yr Nice to see KT Tunstall start off in the top 10. No doubt she’ll be struggling for top 20 by the end of the week.
October 8, 20187 yr It would be nice to see Trench stay at #1, it didn't blow me away, but I'm not a huge fan of ASIB. Glad to see Matt Berry charting with Television Themes, such a weird but brilliant album! (and 6ix9ine can get lost!)
October 8, 20187 yr 'Venom' also just had a music video drop which is probably the main reason it's there. 'The Ringer' and 'Fall' both being starred out now after having turns as the highest Eminem track within the last 5 weeks  Halsey finally coming for at least a moderate hit in her own name then, amazed it took this long. Yass at 'Drip Too Hard' being comfortably top 40, should be able to hang on from there *.* Sudden big climb for 'Ay Caramba' as well, Radio 1's late playlisting actually having an impact? (Or maybe just being helped by 'Funky Friday'). 'A Star Is Born' should hold up pretty well and have a shot at #1 in later weeks if it can't close the gap this week - would be nice if twenty one pilots could get the #1 album to make up for the singles bombing.
October 8, 20187 yr 'Venom' also just had a music video drop which is probably the main reason it's there. 'The Ringer' and 'Fall' both being starred out now after having turns as the highest Eminem track within the last 5 weeks :lol:Oh right, didn't realise there was that too. It also is really annoying when songs previously in the chart get starred out especially when they've only been in for a few weeks so I was hoping we wouldn't lose 'Fall' as well as 'The Ringer'! And I bet, just to annoy me further, that in a few weeks time 'Fall' will re-overtake either 'Venom' or 'Killshot' and star that out. It'll be The Weeknd all over again. :drama: (also, Jumpsuit is on course to out peak itself this week, currently at #42)
October 8, 20187 yr If ASIB doesn't make it this week, is there a threat to it next week? The Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack will obviously be #1 after.
October 8, 20187 yr I think Venom if charting most cos of the video, its in at @2 in the latest Youtube update Dave/Fredo are indeed in at @1 on YT doing double than Calvin so that will help them stay top 3 i think Rather prefer A star at @1 than 21Pilots
