Had no idea this was coming but Madonna features on Quavo's album QUAVO HUNCHO. The song is titled 'CHAMPAGNE ROSE' and features Cardi B as well.

That pronunciation of "champagne"! :lol: I imagine this is going to be most Madonna fans' worst nightmare. Madonna's vocal has been processed to hell but I dare say I find it kinda catchy. :ph34r:

Didn't enter the UK Spotify Top 200 on Friday but did enter at #60 on US Spotify, with 488,587 streams.

 

10 songs from the album appear above it, so doesn't seem like Madonna's name is attracting more attention to the song.

I'm genuinely shocked by how appalling this is.

 

These processed and recorded in the voice note app vocals have been haunting me since MDNA.

Quavo speaking on a radio interview:

Madonna had sent me this voiceover. She was just snapping and singing. She was probably singing in the bathroom. I called Murda. I told him we got to do something to this voiceover asap. He came in, I did the drums, he did the flute. I was happy with it, but I still wanted a bigger moment. I was like, let’s create this whole new Motorsport wave again, so I grabbed Cardi B and was like… Madonna, Cardi… she loves Cardi… Cardi loves Madonna. It only made sense to do it.

I brought Madonna to the trap.
