Congratulations Aeroche! I was quite close to giving you points this month but this is the first time I believe in a while that I haven't pointed the winner 😣

Well, I didn't vote for any of the top 3 but the annual Aeroche win was probably my preferred outcome out of those, so yay! Pleased to see Bhangra, Beaverdonia and Terra Avium in the top 10, and especially Flynnonda getting that long-overdue top 5 the month after we got ours :D

 

I'm happy with 28th and avoiding the bottom 10. Being in five countries' medal positions was probably more than I'd expected - thanks Tinnmark, Lotunia and Flynnonda for the 18s and Wholune and East Rukahavian for the 15s <3

 

Also, good job hosting Cody ^_^ (Aside: Was I really the 5th person to vote? I sent them less than 48 hours before the deadline!)

Wow, just a bit! Though I did think Semi 2 was loads better than what qualified from Semi 1, so maybe in a weird way the people that liked it were in that semi.

 

Not too disappointed, I had no hopes of finishing as high with this in the last three contests. Pleased that most of the people who voted for it gave it quite high points so there was considerable love for it.

 

Didn't mind any of the top 3, though definitely not what I'd have thought would be up there!

Congrats Leww on the win, 'Disaster' really grabs the attention on the first listen and won't let go!

 

Great hosting Cody (it wasn't slow for me as I was asleep for the most part, hehe) + I can confirm that it is time-consuming and stressful af, but a fantastic experience on the whole!

 

I really am one of the kings+queens of bombing in the final after a decent semi result, although I'm happy with 26th for 'Turn Off The Lights', thanks for the votes Everyone! :heart:

Seriously though, I should have seen it coming. In a year that’s seen a few big pop winners that just didn’t click with me, Disaster did so in a big way, what a huge pop song, it could hardly fail.

 

Also so happy for Tartford, despite its stature as a legendary European hit I’d never actually listened to the Ofra Haza track before now, it’s incredible. Sad to see Ashton so low though, my favourite from them in many months, such an infectious track.

it was about time we had another Aeroche win, congrats! must say I prefer 'Stay' from her but 'Disaster' is a solid pop song.

amazed that Thelonia managed to get so high after they seemed like they were flopping hard in the first section, at one point a third of their points were from me, very glad they got a move on!!

 

was hoping for a hit with 'Burn' but I'll take 21st as an 'almost-hit', I really love the song anyway so no regrets here and it already served its purpose in giving me a record breaking qualification streak!

So the winner is the only one of the top nine I didn't even consider voting for. Ah well.

 

In a lot of finals I've struggled to fill all the scoring positions. This time there were some good songs that missed out on points altogether. The host's song was one of them.
