I'm here for the Valentina one-woman telenovela edit - she is completely insane and it's fun to watch.

 

Manilla and Monique killed it (no more brown cow please) and they actually got the top 2/bottom 2 right for a change. Speaking of the bottom... I'm so disappointed by Monet. She was one my favourites but there has been little progression. Too much too soon. I think the fact Monique was treated like a filler queen in Season 10 is helping her.

 

This is truly the successor to All Stars 2 though, and I'm so glad 3 was just a blip.

Whilst it was cow again, I loved Monique's runway!! Suitably quirky with the random curves and bumps in weird places.

 

I agree about the editing too, it seemed to me it was edited to seem abrupt when it probably wasn't so much. I guess it injected some drama and comedy into what was going to be a pretty obvious elimination (with each one having a good friend in the bottom 2).

I'm so over brown cow (and sponge dresses) and I don't think Monique should have been Top 2 this week. Should have been a Manila / Naomi top 2 imo. But I'm still pleased with who left. Latrice has been very below average, especially for a third timer I think it's fair to expect a lot more.

YESSS!! Manila is just going from strength to strength and showing exactly how to use a 3rd chance at the crown (take note Latrice).

 

Obsessed with Kim Chi's outfit here! Trixie looks great, too. (Yay at them both agreeing that Talentina was the best in the challenge).

Idk why they didn't say "you are the top 3 All Stars of the week", Valentina definitely should've been high* but as I said Manila and Monique were definitely the top 2. Naomi was mostly great but wasn't so in it the whole way through as the other 3, in a scene with Manila barking she had to bring it up a bit more but she did get a little bit lost in places. Monique did kinda play herself, but still totally went for it, exaggerated and when Monique as herself is so hilarious I'm not mad at all.

That Monique lipsync was one of my fave of the season so far. She was feeling it!!!

Valentina is giving her me everything I wanted from an All Stars version of her, polished and hilarious! Really loving Manila too.

 

I didn't like Latrice and it kind of felt she was putting her all in but I prefer her to Monet :( I have a bad feeling she will last a while now too ugh.

Latrice's boots the house down runway is still giving me nightmares.

I still can't stop thinking about "LADIES I'M BOILING", absolutely iconic.

Omg the spoilers were wrong again (I was trying to avoid but have seen some), it was meant to be Naomi and Monet top 2 but neither of them gave a good enough lipsync so Ru was like nah nobody won and just stopped them eliminating anyone :lol: My rank based solely on the challenge:

 

01 Manila: CRUSHING this *.* Yet again showing why she's one of the funniest queens, period. That embodied everything a roast should be.

02 Monet: Actually really funny, the Monet I've wanted to see all season!

03 Monique: as the judges said, lost it a bit due to being a bit *too* in the character - that shouldn't be a bad thing but it kinda was as it gave no room to take any of it in. I'll have to watch again to find it as funny as I know it was or should be.

04 Valentina: a damn mess but she's just hilare to watch anyway, because she was such a mess it was at least funny for that, all three were pretty bad. Idk if that really counts as doing better in the challenge but at least it was an enjoyable moment.

05 Trinity: I think she just totally got in her head about having to prove something from the S9 roast, the set could have been great with the "character" and what she had written down but it just flatlined....

06 Naomi: that was giving me Farrah season 9 roast teas :drama: So awkward, it's not like she had a potentially decent set ruined by nerves or f***ing up, it was just really uncomfortable watching her absolutely bomb like that :(

 

I really like this way to bring back the other girls in a way that doesn't just regurgitate every other time, idk what they're going to do with the lipsync for your life thing but I'm here for it being back *.* Idk how it's gonna work with lipsticks and Lipsync For Your Life but I trust there'll be drama which I'm gagged for *.*

 

I'm struggling to decide how I feel about Monet and Monique :lol: The latter is bringing it, is entertaining and all but the delusion is ridiculous. She can't take any form of criticism, but doesn't make an overwrought drama of it like Valentina, she just comes across like she can't take any of it. Monet is similar, you can't help but laugh that she felt the need to bring up track records when she's fresh from being bottom and was VERY lucky not to be bottom 2 in the talent show and Snatch Game, plus arguably shouldn't have been top 2 over Naomi or Latrice in the girl group challenge. But as much as I feel this, there's still glimpses of the best of Monet or Monique, it was just this week for the latter really. I also kinda hate their "alliance", Manila did absolutely nothing wrong (nothing that 90% of All Stars contestants haven't done anyway...), they just see her as a threat and know they probably couldn't beat her in the top 2/3 so are pressed af :') Idk how I feel about the whole strategy thing either, I kinda get it... You're there to win and I understand that fire to get anyone who might stop you out, but if a queen is that good, they should be able to win anyway. I think Manila has it right, if you win a lipsync and are in the position to choose who goes, it's your choice. I don't see why they're so pressed at a decision she didn't even get to act on because she didn't win! Monique would have done the same if the situation was reversed and Monet "should" have gone... I don't know why it's only a problem when Manila does it.

Manila absolutely SLAYED this roast. The moment she walked out and peeked at LB out of that umbrella I had to pause the video, it was hysterical! Everything was there and that's probably one of the strongest roasts/comedy routines RPDR has seen since Bianca. It's super weird that Manila bombed her comedy routine in Season 3. She was bottom 2 that episode...

 

Monet was really funny too. Miles behind Manila but clear Top 2.

 

Monique I loved a lot as well. The thing I agree with is that she should've paused more often - the effect would've been much stronger.

 

What a hard elimination this would've been. Now I'm expecting full blown drama in regards to who was chosen by whom at the beginning of the next episode. Judging by her reaction in the previews Trinity may have been chosen by Manila?? The inclusion of the eliminated girls makes it x500 more dramatic. I can't wait.

I'm not here for Monet and Monique's alliance against Manila. They seem to have taken it very personally and I see it as more jealousy that Manila is doing well. Plus the fact that Monique obviously chose Latrice to go because she is good friends with Monet but was able to use the excuse of Monet doing better to hide it.

 

I also just don't get the love for Monique, she's FAR too in your face and loud, and the "brown cow stunning" thing got old very quickly! :drama:

Willam had said before the series even started that there was a week both the queens picked Valentina but the series is rigged for her so they worked around it and she stayed, guessing that was this week and it seemed that was the way nothing Manila and Monet were heading

Not sure about the returning queens... none of them really deserve to come back and oust one of the remaining Queens as the 4 who went weren't actually good in any of the challenges and the remaining 6 all have been great in at least 1 of the challenges.

 

But I guess see what happens - I can't slate it really until i've seen it

 

Can we please crown Manila now? 3 wins in a row! I'm loving her more with each episode. Trinity had such a good start, however seems to be faltering a bit. I like Monique, but at times she as delusional as Valentina and not as good as she thinks she is. Valentina was funny... but am going of her a bit more each episode. Loving Monet... Naomi is a bit meh.

This episode was a weird one. In my opinion Valentina was HILARIOUS and nowhere near as bad as Naomi or Trinity! Monet really wasn't that greatoo and Im starting to find her as unlikeable as Trixie/Alaska were in their All Stars series, which I'm desperately hoping means she doesn't win.

 

I also don't get why they're trying to make it out like Valentina isn't good?? She and Manila are the front runners in my eyes and have been consistently amazing. This editing and praise for Monet can't fool me.

Purely statistically speaking though Valentina probabaly is the worst left, maybe Naomi depending on how you ranking “High” placements
