Christ almighty. Surely a big component of a single mix is for the instant exposure upon release?

 

Can't see anything beyond a low debut for this now, since I doubt it'll get instant Hot Hits support.

Yep. You'd have thought so! It's the only logical explanation as to why they would add remixes/features imo.

 

It's so baffling. I'm hoping it will be updated by the time we wake up. But not holding my breath!

Don't most added features to single mixes / remixes not get added to NMF? Would have expected an exception for Little Mix but I can't say I'm that shocked.

 

Ty Dolla doesn't really add anything for me. I agree that the male voice heard in the chorus could easily be him so it's not jarring in respect to fitting into the song, it's more that it just falls completely flat. MGK wasn't really necessary for No More Sad Songs but I felt he at least Brough something to the song.

Ah didn't realise that, yeah that is quite odd then. Maybe it could appear by the morning but I don't see why there should be a delay.

Yeah remixes always make it, often even without a feat. It’s #2 on NMF japan

The first chorus is shorter, the bridge is replaced by Ty’s verse, and the production on the second pre-chorus and last chorus are changed a bit.

 

I thought the production changed! but figured I must just be wrong.

 

It's fine, much of a muchness as the solo version. No worse is a plus and the feature might branch them out a little in some markets.

Honestly I'm so annoyed about NMF....

 

It's straight to C on Radio 1 which is cute, but it probably won't even go top 200 on Spotify tomorrow now.

I've got a feeling this single could be a flop for them.

Admittedly the lack of NMF is a mess and likely going to hinder its performance for the first week or so, but I can still see this being a pretty big hit for them. It’s very GP-friendly and more of a return to the ‘Glory Days’ sound.

That's not true in the slightest.

 

Spotify has had 'Think About Us' on a couple of their playlists and one of the main pop playlists too.

They've changed the artwork for this on Apple Music and iTunes now. Much nicer. Still nothing on Spotify, no hot hits, no NMF, no artwork change.

 

 

14 and 79 on iTunes and 108 and 117 on Apple Music, so it's off to a good start! It'll probably take a couple of weeks to catch up on Spotify now with Leonagwen and others saying it's flopping but the video is out a week today and Brits are a couple of weeks after so I'm pretty positive about this one!

Love the new artwork! My favourite of theirs in a long while. Shame about Spotify, but it is the top track on 'The Pop List' so it's not like they've been completely snubbed. The NMF omission seems like a genuine mistake.
