#26  (new peak this year)

If it overtakes All I Want For Christmas is You which is at #25 it'll be the most downloaded Christmas song at the moment.

With the only difference that Mariah has a second version at 30

It might already be since there's also a version just outside the top 100.

So happy this was performed on a big TV show again, I feel like the public needed a reminder of the song, and it came at the right time, 5 years after the original release.

It takes a while to become a proper Christmas classic, even Mariah, though a known Christmas classic, really took off as THE Christmas classic after Love Actually.

Reached a new 2018 peak of #22 a short while ago but currently sitting at #23 and #82 on iTunes!

#36 on Spotify with 157,756

Pleased how its still hanging around in the 20's as the x factor boost would of worn off by now.

Great numbers on spotify too this year, Hopefully top 75 this week is set in stone!

Hoping it can climb into the top 40 closer to christmas, Went top 20 last year but that was without ACR.

Not the only difference as Leona has another version, but yeah meant in terms of position not added versions

#41 in todays mids.

Yes I meant that..Mariah combined 15 where Lee 21 on itunes...where she would be if she was on SCR??

So glad to see OMS rising still! I hope that it gets reset to SCR, would love to see it top 40 with all the big Christmas classics.

I think it's really unlikely the song will be reset to SCR - not to sound like a Debbie Downer. If OMS was reset after one televised performance, then Take That's Shine would be as would Kaiser Chief's I Predict A Riot. I think the only way it will be reset is if Leona releases a new promoted version. We now know a duet verson works so Leona should do that in 2023. :P

Yeah, it’s not coming off ACR, it would have been taken off by now.

It’d be #23 if taken off ACR btw.

how have I been sleeping on this song

bopping around the xmas tree :musicnote:

YES!!!!

I think it is the label that has to make a request too

Still at 36 on Spotify today. Holding up well! 32 and 95 on UK iTunes also.

It's also been moved up to #12 today from #48 on the Christmas Pop playlist, it has over 1.2 million listeners.

Also this month she has went from #70 to #18 on Christmas Songs - Holiday Music (Filtr US) with over 700,000 listeners.

I am really hopeful this is the year where we might actually start to see it take off in other places.

That’s great news! Got a good feeling this year about the song. You can tell by the daily Spotify streams compared to just the UK figures that it is picking up on streaming globally, not just exclusive to the UK.

That is MASSIVE.I bet the Macey's Day parade helped get it US momentum. Who is her US publicist? That was the perfect gig! Now that Spotify knows it's popular, hopefully it will start higher and higher each year!

The OCC have confirmed "One More Sleep"'s status as the highest selling modern Christmas classic!

Leona Lewis – One More Sleep (2013)

Peak: 3

Combined sales: 377,000

Streams: 18.8m

One More Sleep's Motown-with-sleigh-bells sound made it feel like an instant classic when it was released in December 2013. It's one of the highest charting modern Christmas songs, topping out at Number 3, while the track itself perfectly captures the excitement of the build up to the big day.
