December 1, 2024Dec 1 It truly is a modern classic! An absolute modern classic that deserves so much better each year. It's doing so well on Apple - one of the most streamed Christmas songs - which makes the lack of Spotify support all the more frustrating. :( If the Spotify support mirrored that of Apple, it would probably be top 10 every year. Agree, if it hit the playlisting that Ariana and .jelly get on Spotify it’d easily go top 10 every year.

Was going over the numbers and Leona will be near x3 Platinum for OMS next year I think. Article from OCC had her at 1.46m units on an article dated 06/12/23. Assuming that data is up to date: Chart 14/12/23 - charted at 35 est sales 17,000 (Taylor is at #33 with 17,781) Chart 21/12/23 - charted at 34 est sales 17,000 (rough est as no data for close positions) Chart 28/12/23 - charted at 32 est sales 20,000 (Laufey is at #31 with 20,582) Chart 04/01/24 - charted at 29 est sales 35,000 (Darlene is at #31 with 33,690) Estimated updated total = 1,549,000 Chart 29/11/24 - charted at 82 est sales 5,000 (rough est as no data for close positions) Chart 06/12/24 - charted at 45 est sales 14,000 (rough est as no data for close positions) Time will tell for how long it’ll take for OMS to cross x3 Platinum. Kinda frustrating as Kelly was behind Leona on that same article and she has just had her x3 Platinum announcement. Keep streaming folks :)

December 8, 2024Dec 8 So sad OMS can't get the Spotify support like in 2017/2018 :(I think the high placement in 2018 was helped by her performing it on X Factor.

So double your sales estimates and it should be on ~1.65m and be 3x platinum after the week of Christmas this year (assuming it'll do similar sales!). In my country, the first song on the main Christmas playlist is a local song, and among the first 20 songs there are 5. December 8, 2024Dec 8 Yet again another example of how the charts are really a load of nonsense... as said above if OMS was given the same playlisting support at Kelly and Ariana it would be just as big of a hit. It's a shame really as the song is vastly superior to Ariana's (although on par with Kelly's which is also excellent).

Although Glassheart and Fireflied and Collide are also up there of course, as is Winter Wonderland.
