Fabulous to see Quintessa getting another top 10 too as well as Dobago even though that one just missed out on my points too and I'd have preferred Arcodesia to make it in (though 11th for pg.lost is still incredible, maybe the post-rock glass ceiling is now a thing of the past :o)

As much as I am gutted to have missed out on one of my favourite songs ever JUST missing out on the top ten, there is absolutely no denying that 11th is far higher than I was ever expecting when I entered it! I was pretty sure it would DNQ, so I'm so pleased with how well it did. Dobago were also the country that gave the most points in the final to pg.lost, and Down With The Underground was a pretty good find as well! As for the post-rock glass ceiling, I really hope that is indeed a thing of the past!

I'm happy with 24th...didn't really expect much more than that for Warum? as it's probably a bit niche but I'm so glad it found some big fans :D Interesting to see Started Out, which I almost confirmed, only four places ahead in the end. And shame Ashton were bottom three, it's a brilliant little song.

Yeah I didn't really get the winner either, like it seemed fine but fairly ordinary but it's always great to see a debut country win, bring on Oslol 111. :o

 

Also hosting next month would've been fairly difficult unless the schedule started like halfway through the month, got deadlines for the 15th or something like that. Hoping for an AQ though, that'd be awesome. :heart:

It was 165 points for 'Remember' before the deduction which would be joint with MssingNo's 'Scope' for the 4th highest ever (after The Naked And Famous' 186, Salt Ashes' 'Save It' on 173 and Eva Simons' 'Silly Boy' on 170 way back in the day). Of course that's excluding all the crazy inflated scores from the BJSC 100 semis with the 18 point voting system (the highest scorer there had 278 points but scaled down to 145 under the usual voting system).

 

Woo for raaginder being comfortably top 10 in the semis and actually picking up a few voters in the final who snubbed it in the semi!

My campaign starts now for A Tribe Called Red to continue my 100% record of getting my top 10 hits into the TBO semis. Not particularly confident they will though. I think my best shot of getting anything through the nominations may lie with ROSALÍA in Rejects.
