Only You kinda passed me by at the time. It's not actually that bad, it's just totally beneath them, especially when they otherwise seem to push the pop sound further with each era.

I kind of love 'Only You' more now than when it was released. Underrated bop. Perrie's opening verse.
The worst thing that Little Mix have ever released, next x

JERDDDD WAS LIKE NOT ON MY WATCH BITCHHH.

A load of 9s for this song, but only one 10 from Defaze. 'Motivate' is Jesy's favourite on the album, and the song she wants to release next as a single. I personally think this is a real fun track, though I'm not 100% would be a smash but it would be a good radio single in my opinion.

I LOOOVE 'Motivate' and I can actually see it working really well as a single, even though on paper it shouldn't. It'd def be a 10 from me now. So catchy and just an ear worm.

If they were to remix and release it as a single as single 4 or something, adding Stefflon would work I reckon.

I adore 'Motivate', but I still think 'Monster In Me', 'Wasabi' and 'Forget You Not' are all better single choices.

As we continue into the top 10, at #8 we have the nice but slightly overproduced 'More Than Words'.

I feel like the production is what makes this song a bit hit or miss for people. I don't mind it as such, but I can see why people wouldn't rate it much. The lyrics are gorgeous though and the effects on their vocals really add to it. It's really endearingly catchy I think. Not sure it'd work as a single, but one of my friends (who is neither a fan or not a fan of them) checked out the album on the back of this song and she loved it. So... Maybe it wouldn't be a bad single choice?

The second best ballad on the album IMO. Better than The Cure (if you count that).

I wouldn't call 'More Than Words' over-produced at all. Part of the appeal for me is how it injects the right amount of drama into the song whilst allowing the vocals and lyrics to be at the forefront. It's my favourite ballad from the album and, like Joe said, better than 'The Cure' (although that is still great).

'Motivate' is quite the grower! It does sound like a single but in a similar way to 'American Boy' where they'd be great choices if on an album with less highs.

The verses of 'More Than Words' are fascinating but the overlong pauses in the chorus leave the whole thing feeling a bit stilted! There was definitely potential for an amazing song here but it didn't quite meet the mark. Definitely not bad though! Kamille was a wonderful choice of feature.
I ADORE the production on it! Charli XCX snapped.

I agree the verses are superior to the chorus, but 'More Than Words' is still fantastic overall. I'd class it, 'Monster in Me' and 'Towers' as their top 3 ballads.

Surprised that 'Strip' and WLM are both still in -- I figured they'd prove a lot more polarising after some of the comments on here.

"More Than Words" deserved a higher position. It's one of the most "interesting" songs they have ever released.

"Woman Like Me' needs to go.

Here we have abandoned single 'Strip', which was downgraded to a promo single for whatever reason. I had it on good authority that a Strip Spotify vertical video was shot, so it's a bit sad we never got that. But it *was* a risky choice. Personally, I think it might have been a smash, but we'll never know, it could have also tanked and 'Think About Us' is a much more generic and safer choice. At least it got its #25 peak!

My 9 for 'Strip' would definitely be a 10 now  which means I'm all the more gutted that it's not the second single

Strip is so infectious. As divisive as it is, I can't help but feel they shoulda just pulled through with it. I feel like it would've been a big hit for them especially amongst the controversy surrounding the video to it!

A bop that worms it's way into your head.

I liked the fact Strip would have been a risky second choice of single and I think the girls would have been able to make it a hit. I can see why it wouldn't work as a single to sell the album over Christmas, but then again they haven't actually promoted Think About Us yet so maybe it wouldn't matter.

Just missing out on a top 5 position is the stunning, instant grat single 'The Cure'. The hook, melody and vocals are the closest to 'Glory Days' we are going to get on this album. It's such an anthemic, euphoric and uplifting song. In the same vein as 'Nothing Else Matters'. It's very 'Out Of the Woods' by Taylor too (her best song x) so I was always gonna love this. I feel like this would make a good single after something less safe than TAU like 'Wasabi' or 'Strip' or something. One of the songs I keep coming back to the most on the album. A banger.

Your top 5 based on "initial reactions" are (Track listing order)

Woman Like Me (feat. Nicki Minaj)

Think About Us

Monster In Me

Wasabi

Forget You Not
