Welcome Buzzjack to another Madonna survivor poll, after completing 'The Immaculate Collection' poll (where 'Vogue' won), I gave this forum a choice on what to do next either this or 'GHV2', and by a landslide 'STR' won and giving that we're in the winter/X-Mas time, this seems rather fitting and experience some of Madonna's best ballads to keep us warm during these cold months.

Something To Remember is a compilation album by Madonna, released in November 1995 and was conceived after a controversial period in Madonna's career, when many critics had speculated that her career was in decline and she knew it was time to make a change, especially after her personal life had started to dominate over her musical career. Taraborrelli explained "So, whether Madonna released Something to Remember, a collection of previously released love songs, because she had a point to prove or simply to keep a contractual obligation, the fourteen track recording did make a statement."[2] Described as a "love letter from Madonna to her fans and music lovers alike" the compilation seemed to notify her contemporaries of her musical talent.

The collection complies of ballads spanning over a decade of her career, including a reworked version of 'Love Don't Live Here Anymore' and three new songs, as well as previously released singles that have never featured on any of her albums, and altogether provided a softer image for the singer during a critical period in her career.

are we voting for fav or least fav?
La isla bonita and the extra version of I Want You are not needed
Vote for your least favourite, I'm assuming the title of the poll has just been transfered from the last round.

Always found it strange that La Isla Bonita was tacked on to the end of the Japanese version. It's may not be an uptempo and, yes, there is a sense of melancholy to the lyrics but I don't think it fits the theme of this album.

I think my choice is One More Chance. It's no bad when I listen to it, but it is extremely forgettable.

'I Want You [Orchestral]' gets my first vote...

Least Fave...

We need La Isla to go !

Doesn’t fit the album at all.

Votes are pretty spread out but, even so, 'La Isla Bonita' as the joint-most voted is surprising. Is that just because it doesn't feature on the standard tracking list or do people genuinely think it's the least good on the album? I'm not convinced it's the latter.
