February 19, 20196 yr Looks like the performers are (so far) Hugh Jackman, Calvin Harris (w/ Dua Lipa, Sam Smith & Rag'n'Bone Man), Little Mix (w/ Ms Banks), George Ezra, Jorja Smith, Jess Glynne (w/ H.E.R.) The 1975 and P!nk. With that in mind, my predictions. British Male Solo Artist Sam Smith Craig David Aphex Twin Giggs George Ezra British Female Solo Artist Florence + The Machine Jorja Smith Lily Allen Anne-Marie Jess Glynne British Single Cavin Harris & Dua Lipa - One Kiss George Ezra - Shotgun Rudimental feat. Jess Glynne, Macklemore & Dan Caplen - These Days Dua Lipa - IDGAF Anne-Marie - 2002 Clean Bandit feat. Demi Lovato - Solo Sigala - Lullaby Ramz - Barking Jess Glynne - I’ll Be There Tom Walker - Leave A Light On British Breakthrough Mabel IDLES Ella Mai Tom Walker Jorja Smith British Group Arctic Monkeys Gorillaz The 1975 Little Mix Years & Years British Artist Video of the Year Anne-Marie - 2002 Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa - One Kiss Clean Bandit feat. Demi Lovato - Solo Dua Lipa - IDGAF Jax Jones feat. Ina Wroldsen - Breathe Jonas Blue feat. Jack & Jack - Rise Liam Payne & Rita Ora - For You (Fifty Shades Freed) Little Mix feat. Nicki Minaj - Woman Like Me Rita Ora - Let You Love Me Rudimental feat. Jess Glynne, Macklemore & Dan Caplen - These Days International Group The Carters First Aid Kid BROCKHAMPTON Nile Rodgers & Chic Twenty One Pilots International Male Solo Artist Drake Eminem Kamasi Washington Shawn Mendes Travis Scott International Female Solo Artist Cardi B Camila Cabello Christine and the Queens Ariana Grande Janelle Monáe British Album of the Year Jorja Smith - Lost & Found The 1975 - A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships Florence + The Machine - High As Hope Anne-Marie - Speak Your Mind George Ezra - Staying At Tamara’s Hard to say with the International ones, I get the feeling they'll go for one of the critics faves for Female (Christine/Janelle) over Ariana despite her massive commercial success though - and for Male they gave it to Drake two years ago so Eminem could take it (also for having released one of his best received albums in a while). International group could easily go to Chic just because of their legends status but I think TOP are more likely. I'm quite confident about most of the British ones though. The 1975 will win big (and they'll easily win Group) and for the album I can see them winning with the BRITs once again going for the more critically acclaimed album over the commercial one (1975 vs George as Stormzy vs Ed last year), though Jorja would also be in the running as they love her too (and I'd be surprised if she didn't get Female even with Jess also performing and being more successful). For Male it'll either be Sam Smith or George Ezra but I think George is more likely even with Sam having the BRIT school connection as he had a much bigger era. One Kiss I can see getting single and video - I was going to go Shotgun for single but it is Capital listener voted (I think it still is?) and they didn't give airplay to George - and the Dua twitter stans will help it win vid (though it'll have competition with Liam). And as Breakthrough is R1 listener voted and IDLES apparently have the biggest fanbase of those they'll probably win that. Edit: seeing as Shawn has actually turned up that probably means he has Intl. Male.
February 19, 20196 yr Shame it's looking like no Ariana - especially since she had to pull out last year and she's queen of the charts atm
February 19, 20196 yr Yeah a bit disappointing they have none of the international male, female or group nominations performing. I'd have liked to see Twenty One Pilots and Shawn Mendes. But at least Pink is there. Really hope The 1975 do well tomorrow, though the Little Mix stans will be annoying as usual  It would also be amazing to see Idles win, insane how much they've grown in the last year. I hope they are there, because I'd love to hear Joe's speech! (by the way, single isn't voted by anyone. Capital just sponsor it. If it was voted for, there's no way Rag'n'Bone Man would have won last year) Edited February 19, 20196 yr by Whoody4Paramore
February 20, 20196 yr this show better be worthwhile if I'm gonna put myself through it again x (last year's was alright tbf, but this year won't have Este Haim pulling faces in the background so I don't expect much) trying predix as usual~ George and Ariana are the only ones I'm really sure about British Male Solo Artist Sam Smith Craig David Aphex Twin Giggs George Ezra British Female Solo Artist Florence + The Machine Jorja Smith Lily Allen Anne-Marie Jess Glynne British Single Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa - One Kiss George Ezra - Shotgun Rudimental feat. Demi Lovato - Solo Sigala - Lullaby Ramz - Barking Jess Glynne - I’ll Be There Tom Walker - Leave A Light On British Breakthrough < really hard to call, I'd love to see Idles win somehow but I am not one for wishful thinking x Mabel IDLES Ella Mai Tom Walker Jorja Smith British Group Arctic Monkeys Gorillaz The 1975 Little Mix Years & Years British Artist Video of the Year < don't really give a shit lmao Anne-Marie - 2002 Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa - One Kiss Clean Bandit feat. Nicki Minaj - Woman Like Me Rita Ora - Let You Love Me Rudimental feat. Jess Glynne, Macklemore & Dan Caplen - These Days International Group < just guessing with this, I could see any of them winning The Carters First Aid Kit BROCKHAMPTON Nile Rodgers & Chic Twenty One Pilots International Male Solo Artist Drake Eminem Kamasi Washington Shawn Mendes Travis Scott International Female Solo Artist Cardi B Camila Cabello Christine and the Queens Ariana Grande Janelle Monáe British Album of the Year Jorja Smith - Lost & Found The 1975 - A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships < a coin toss between them and Ezra Florence + The Machine - High As Hope Anne-Marie - Speak Your Mind George Ezra - Staying At Tamara’s

February 20, 20196 yr @1098267954687422466 Idles looking the smartest they've ever been  Also, Shawn Mendes is the only International Male seen, so I imagine he'll be winning that won. Edited February 20, 20196 yr by Whoody4Paramore

February 20, 20196 yr They’re really pushing Jorja Smith aren’t they? Not that I’m complaining, she’s great, its just so obvious its because they gave her critics choice last year
February 20, 20196 yr Only really looking forward to Pink. Not really invested in many of the acts up for the awards.
February 20, 20196 yr Author P!nk has just said on the red carpet show that she has a special male guest during her performance.
