I've worked out at least 15 tracks have fallen from last week's top 40 chart which includes 2 from the top 10, Imagine and Thursday.

I'm fangirling so hard right now at the prospect of Mariah getting #1.

Oh my god I am so here for 30 Xmas tracks in the top 40!!! Please let Mariah be 1 too as Ava definitely has it next week.

Some of those xmas tracks in the top 40 currently are a bit leftfield... Bing Crosby, Bobby Helms.

And I echo at Ava Max should get the #1 next week.

Katy Perry doing better with this Amazon exclusive than Bon Appetit, Berbery AND Swish Swish Bish!!

Urgh Sia gonna deafen us this charts! WEOWJEHkehKehruskfhehWerwfkfuri hot chocolate!!

'Baby Shark' managing to survive in the top 40 amongst the Christmas onslaught  coming for a big new peak next week?
They are only counting the top 10 tomorrow on radio 1 the rest is year end chart even though that will be 4 days sales out of the final sales for the year.

It's the final chart of the year, it's easier to look at an EOY chart from that perspective than tallying from 1st Jan to 31st Dec! (also, tomorrow is easily the best day for an EOY chart)

I think I count 30 Xmas songs in the top 40, the occ rules to prevent Xmas songs from charting have worked very well :D :D :D

I would be curious to see what the chart would look like without the 3 year automatic ACR applied rule! Probably looking at 35/40 Xmas songs at least!

Don’t think the OCC expected Xmas stream to grow so exponentially since last year. Wondering what new rule they will out in place next to counter this.

I think they will further increase the ratio for songs over three years old.

That'd be ridiculous.. in my opinion what's more likely is a seperate christmas chart

I am curious to see where Baby is going to land after the Xmas songs disappear.

It is holding decent at 34 on youtube streams (globally but with a lot of latino songs ahead) - and gaining traction (over 40Mn views this month against 29Mn in November).

Hoping it can get some momentum on Spotify.

Yup with Ava Max and Ariana's two really low top40!

Every week don't have, at this point in the midweek, any Youtube numbers (usually 2-3 days)

I do believe, that especially during the Xmas week some Utube numbers are still not counted in this update. If this is true, Mariah could gain some more units to Ava.

Tomorrow we will know!

That's not the case - we're usually only missing one day of YouTube, occasionally 2 but it's rarely ever as much as 3!
