Someone You Loved has stabilised very well considering it was Scott's Tune of the Week on R1 last week and hasn't been added to their playlist yet! A very promising sign.

 

My fave of his remains Lost On You though, that one always sounded like a hit to my ears.

The current chart rules won't let it chart high anyway. The song's a few years old I believe.

It's not a lead single, or being pushed, so I'm very happy to see it at all!

Where has The Killers track come from?

It's a political single that they've been sat on for a while, it's not the lead for their next album. That will be out either later this year, or start of 2020. :)

Appears to be a guy with terminal cancer but I have no idea where it’s come from? Maybe The One Show or something?

His son was on Jeremy Vine on his last show of 2018 to talk about the song (he was too ill), surprised the single's only taking off now (was he on some other show recently?).
