I think I'm banned from this one, but no mention in this thread or green room - am I right? If not I'll enter

Unfortunately yes </3

Am I (Bhangra) banned from this one? I forgot to vote in the last one.

Afraid so (as are Beaverdonia, Frandoot and Utopia). All welcome back for 112 of course ~

BTW we have had 3 vetoes so far (2 were sent out a few days ago and already reconfirmed and one has just been sent out now). And Cal's replacement entry needs to be reconfirmed again because it's still an artist clash oops :x

24 hours left ~ currently missing the following nations who entered BJSC 110:

Cumulonimbia

Daehun

East Rukahavian

Enty

Harmonica

Mulgracia

Republic of Adonia

Singerpurear

Summericia

Tinnmark

Trifoski

We're at 52 entries, probably 51 as it didn't look like Yehesi plan to reconfirm (but still do if you want ofc xx).

These were the vetoes so far ~ (all 3 have been reconfirmed now already)

Alice Chater - Hourglass 20

- Alice was previously sent in BJSC 108, coming 14th 10 (7 for position, 3 for recycling).

- Contains a very prominent sample of Human League's 'Don't You Want Me' 10

- Blogs: Attitude, Muu Muse, Vents Magazine, Vagalume, BBC Music (not enough for any blogs tag!)

Jaded - Pancake (feat. Ashnikko) 15

- Jaded was a former winner in BJSC 93 (obviously very debatable) 15 (12 for position, 3 for recycling).

- Blogs: BBC Music, nothing majorly concerning past this apart from being posted on the Popjustice Forum

- In Dan and Jeff's personal charts - the only two members aside from Dobbo to mention the song properly positively in the Dance Forum

The Magician - SHY (feat. Brayton Bowman) 18

- Main artist reached #04 in BJSC 67 15 (12 for position, 3 for recycling).

- Song reached #32 in Belgium (3 points - charted in The Magician's home country).

- 30 million YouTube views - this is concerning for an act which is quite UK / Western-centric and relevant.

- No concerning blog coverage on this.

I've always wondered this. Is is a disadvantage to be posting a personal chart when it comes to potential vetoes as you could essentially be "doing yourself over" in contributing to its points? I remember back in '83 with Feel which ended up entering others posters' charts prior to me entering it, probably would have been close to the threshold from that alone.
i've reconfirmed

along the way i've found a feminist pop anthem perfect for pupok

Hello I am returning this month so send the feminism pls

There needs to be quite a few personal charts so if yours is the tipping point then its probably due to go!

Yeah the veto framework only specifically penalises personal charts if it's in the multichart or in 7 BJSC participants' charts (and tbh if it's in that many charts it'd probably be fairly high up the Multichart these days) so just charting it yourself won't really make any impact. Moderator discretion could still overturn an otherwise fine song that becomes an auto-veto due to making the Multichart from just a couple of people charting it anyway though.

Since bringing back my personal chart this year I'm just leaving my entry out of my chart until the contest starts because I want to keep it unrevealed but can't be bothered with censoring it from the list lol ~

Snake summoning a Lotti return *.*

Hello I am returning this month so send the feminism pls

Omg a Poophesi return *.*

Okay lemme reconfirm

Cumulonimbia haven't entered this time? :(

Aww, I think they would have liked Buzzjack Mountain's entry!

Love the surrealist humour of Oslol with the hosting, may it continue for the other rounds of this contest, or eels!
