Fun fact: this is the third ever album called 'In Stereo' after the iconic Bomfunk MCs and a band called Clouseau had albums of the same title.

Ultraviolet is now out on vinyl and digital - I think it's the first time it's been available in the UK?

It must be its first time as its also number 99 in the midweeks from yesterday.

I wonder if we get some new music from Bananarama soon... Didn't they post a picture with their longtime producer Ian Masterson in studio recently? Maybe there will be a Really Saying Somehing 2020 when their biography is published.

There is usually a fairly long gap in their releases. I would love for a new single to get a campaign behind it or something or even re release a single, id love them by some miracle to finally get a UK number 1.

There's usually been a long gap in releases due to them having to find a label; with their last release they self-released so I kind of hope for something to come earlier. They could always do an EP.

A new album would be better but ya with them on their own label it may speed up the releases.

#12 on the vinyl chart, #58 on download chart, #46 on the sales chart, #47 on the physical chart and sadly nowhere on the main top 100 chart. It just goes to show you that streaming is becoming a huge force in the album charts too.

Ya streaming is really making a dif in the album chart, it wiukd have been nice if they stayed top 100.

The album at #14 in the sales chart wasn't in the top 100 either lol ~

U would think a top 15 on sales would be enough for top 100.

New music / album?

Hopefully a new album. With album sales so low if they done multi format they would get their highest charting album in years.

New album, Masquerade, out on 22nd July.

 

First track, Favourite, is released tomorrow.
