I think being 5 minutes long and taking a good couple of minutes to get going means that it won't be that appealing to streaming audiences even if it did get playlist support. It was #3 on NMF and completely missed the Top 200. Maluma's name will help her out in Latin American and Europe but he's not going to attract the same sort of numbers in the UK. Maybe Swae Lee and Quavo will help? Who knows.

 

I can't say I'm too fussed though. We've got a great lead single that seems to be largely loved by her fanbase and we have a strong, dedicated campaign coming up with its video and Billboard performance.

Added straight to the A-list on Radio 2!

That’s great news on being added to the A-List on BBC RADIO 2 !! There’s so much negative press on Madonna being snubbed by Radio. Its actually a very good song, abstract on its structure and slightly unusual which is what I like about Madonna.

Yeah I noticed there was an article about her being snubbed by BBC radio which wasn't quite true. The Radio 2 playlist updates on Wednesdays so Medellin probably just missed out last week and we all know that Radio 1 aren't going to playlist her so that's not exactly news worthy.

I’m wondering when all the mixes of Medellin will drop does anyone know?

Just watched the video... I'm in complete adoration! Already feels like a Madonna classic. It's so vibrant and big budget; the looks, the choreography, the sex appeal, damn, the chemistry between Madonna and Maluma... they're absolutely sizzling! I really can't get over how fantastic it is. I love the 'Ghosttown' video but this definitely tops it to be her best video in... I don't even know how many years! Feels like there could be a follow-up video too with the next single.
