January 28, 20197 yr I thought people predicting Rudimental's album would miss the top 10 entirely were underestimating them a bit - still a big dropoff from the previous 2 albums but I thought they should still be able to make the top 5 following two #1s. Guessing BMTH should be safe for #1 with that lead especially as they have pretty solid streaming numbers, good to see. James Blake's album at #42, hope he can climb back into the top 40 over the week. Well ahead of dodie at least. x (Also looking back he's really never had much album chart longevity, his three previous albums all dropped out of the top 40 in their third week (and only 'Overgrown' ever re-entered for another week, after its Mercury Prize win) so if 'Assume Form' can at least get a second week in the top 40 it'll be pretty much in keeping with his previous success).
January 28, 20197 yr Ouch for James BlakeEven more ouch for Dodie who beat him to the top five, now down to #96!
January 28, 20197 yr Looks like Little Mix will miss the top 40 It’s shocking that they’re looking to flop. Not like LM at all
January 28, 20197 yr It’s shocking that they’re looking to flop. Not like LM at all It is not a flop after one week.
January 28, 20197 yr Let's not write Little Mix off too soon. If they were actually featured on NMF they'd be a good few places higher, there's still a chance this will be a hit for them (though I doubt at this stage it'll go top 10).
January 28, 20197 yr It is not a flop after one week. They usually go straight in. They’ve got R1 playlist to help. Not many people own its parent album either. They should perform this at the BRITs to make it into a hit
January 28, 20197 yr Happy to see Mabel top 10 - I hope she stays there come friday or even improves on her current position!
