Are people still denying That Little Mix aren’t struggling this era?

I'm still trying to get my head around that double negative.

I won't deny that the era has been turbulent at times but for now it seems like Little Mix are back on track. This remix is set for a good debut, I believe they have the music video out tomorrow and then the BRITs a couple of weeks later so things are looking good.

Yes what exactly is meant with that post!?

Their new remix is looking to debut similarly to their other remixes without any of the Spotify support the others had. I’d say this is a testament to how popular they still are!

This forum has been moving the goal posts for what successful means for this era for Little Mix. First the album was a sure fire number 1, then it was it's ok it will be top 3 or 5 over xmas, then it was the album would repeak and go number 1 in Jan during the sales.

The singles will do well/ok to a certain extent because radio and playlists are still on board but they are losing the general public massively this era.

I would say this era has underperformed for them but that doesn't mean it's 'struggling', there is middle ground between those two things. They're doing well. Not as well as they should be doing, but they're hardly flopping.

underperforming and flopping are different things

about the single, it's 2019, takes ages for songs to be hits, so calling a song a flop after 3 days when the promo hasn't even started is pretty silly

Whilst I agree they have performed it twice already.

What’s with that post is that I’ve made a mistake. Don’t need to be a douche about it

I actually think it's a miracle it's at #31 already

considering the Spotify fiasco, really thought it had no chance of top 40 this week at all and was gonna be #68 or something

Me too. 31 is a great start, it just shows that even in the streaming era they can chart 'high' without spotify

I think they're pointing out that "aren't" is a syntax fail.

actually L Mix are doing pretty similar to the new Dua Lipa

which is a brand new single unavailable anywhere and has had all the Spotify support possible, #1 on NMF and already added high on HH

I think they're pointing out that "aren't" is a syntax fail.

And what I’m pointing out is that I made an error and people still understood what I meant

Yeah once at the peak of christmas madness, and the other at the brits are coming (coincidently anything performed at the brits are coming actually feel down the charts that week) so promo hasnt really kicked in yet
