I thought it had a chance to beat the peak of 'Fashion Week' at the rate it was rising but did not expect that to be as soon as this week considering it was only #9 in the last mids! Easily the best song he's been involved with to date (that I've heard at least) so it's fantastic to see that represented by its chart peak despite how long it took him to get around to promoting it as a single, still rising on Spotify so it might yet go top 5 even.

I can only hope this will lead to a bit more of a UK garage revival rather than just being a one-off hit like 'When The Bassline Drops'.

Fantastic to see go Top 10 for him. Yes I would say also this is the best track that he has done.

'Ladbroke Grove' now reaching a new peak of #3 in its 12th week in the Top 10. Quite a remarkable run this has been for AJ Tracey. Easily one of his most successful singles of his career. I wonder how his other songs would do in the charts in the future.

I've been trying to work out for ages why Ladgrove Grove never clicked with me (and now absolutely bores me to tears) because on paper it should be something I'm all over. Its his delivery, awful. So monotonous. Like he's just reading a shopping list very quickly. Also ppl making out he brought garage back, lol Craig David got in there first so pipe down.

Butterflies is still decent tho so he's got something about him.

Butterflies is a phenomenal song. Just full of energy and the hook is just relentless. There's no time to breathe.

Ladbroke Grove is so overrated.

Also ppl making out he brought garage back, lol Craig David got in there first so pipe down.

Who said that he brought garage back?

Oh I see,

'Ladbroke Grove' finally now gone to ACR with it dropping 22 places from #4, to #26.

I quite like 'Floss' ('Cat Pack' was good too) but he's capable of better. I find it so weird that even after 'Ladbroke Grove' was a huge hit he's doubling down on making standard / fairly generic trap songs rather than going for another garage (or at least more UK oriented) song. I don't know if any of the other new songs on the deluxe version are more like that but I'd have thought if they were they would have been singles to try and capitalise on 'Ladbroke Grove'. It feels like he's chasing the impossible dream of being noticed in the US and missing obvious potential to become even bigger in the UK. 'Floss' looks like it'll be a moderate hit for him anyway but I feel that might be more down to the features than him...

I'm a bit annoyed they've cut half of MoStack's verse on Floss off now on Spotify. They've even edited the YouTube video.

It's Kanye with The Life Of Pablo all over again.

Lol I could tell which part got cut out without looking it up. Maybe MoStack was being threatened by the Chinese government :coffee:

He's dropped another new single just one week after the deluxe version of the album, really not sure why this wasn't just part of the album... (especially as it is a LOT better than the last 2 singles, really liking this one).

I'm guessing it's being treated more as a Skepta single despite AJ being billed first (it's on Skepta's YouTube channel, plus the production is very similar to the singles from 'Ignorance Is Bliss').
