You can usually tell who is going to get an award based on who is performing. Brits are always good for some entertainment value. I watch them more now for the performance hiccups etc than the actual awards themselves.

Has it occurred to you that other people might actually enjoy the Anne-Marie album? :') I mean, in my opinion, it's a great pop album filled with loads of hit-worthy tracks and bags of personality.

Surely a *Brit* award should be representative of the music that the general public thought was the best, therefore Anne-Marie was an obvious choice to get nominated.
February 21, 20197 yr I also hope Calvin gets a chart boost this week and think it would be nice to see Pink in the Top 10 Was surprised Jorja Smith beat Anne Marie and Jess Glynne to the Gong and surprised Lily Allen beat Dua Lipa to a place on the shortlist I also thought Freya Ridings might have been up for British Breakthrough Act given that at the time of the nominations being announced she had the same number of hits as Tom Walker. I really hope she isn't a one hit wonder
