Posted February 24, 20196 yr It's obvious this is coming in the next couple of months so I think it's time for a thread *.* There's heavy rumours this is out in April and supposedly there's 60/61 stars on Taylor's latest insta post. 61 days time is Friday April 26th + that day is supposedly Arbor Day or something which has something to do with palm trees so I can see that being the release date for the lead single ahhh I'm so excited *.*

February 26, 20196 yr What I’m getting at with these clues is that • this definitely looks like a countdown • this album is going to be similar to Red, the palm tree that appears as the center is larger, which implies that it’s the focal point, and with her co-writing songs for the genre, it’s probably given her means to help find the balance between what skyrocketed her into being a mid-2010’s radio darling and what made her famous in the first place. Reputation is a catharsis, and this album picks up where it left off. It’s Taylor seeing the light after an endless pit of darkness.
February 26, 20196 yr I'd love something in between Red and 1989, I think that's probably plausible. I did love Reputation ofc but I think it went a bit too far, 1989 had that feel-good breezy pop sensibility she's always had even if it abandoned country, and Red merged pop and country so well so there was something for everyone. I genuinely have 0 idea what to expect which makes this very exciting if we do get a new single this week! With Reputation, it was obvious she was gonna go further into pop but this will probably be something more familiar but still a step forward and I can't wait to see where she goes with it.
