It’s a nice surprise that she’s managing to chart in other countries!

Im not sure what BMG could realistically do? Week 1 they gave us various formats, bundles and signed items along with TV and radio promo and TV adverts. I doubt even throwing £££ begins it for week 2 wouldn’t halt an epic chart drop - most fans seemed to buy the CD/Cassette bundles and signed Amazon CD so contributed 4 sales, those bundles will be getting minimal if any sales week 2.

I think lowering the price of a few things on her store might help. I utterly refuse to pay £30+ for a 1 disc vinyl, I wonder how many more like me feel the same.

I'm sure BMG will hope the Jade duet gets playlisted by radio 2 and with the Spice girls tour too it could sell a few hundred each week through May and June after it falls off the chart.

I'm not sure what the ultimate aim for BMG is but 20k when all is said and done seems realistic.

Down to #88 in the midweeks, hope she can hold onto that top 100 position

It’s going to be 11-out once streaming etc., gets added in - for it to be #88 already I would think it has no chance of holding on :nocheer:

Oh damn... that's a f***ing big drop...
Sadly, in chart terms, it will be a one week wonder.

If it had managed top 10 we could call it a one week wonder (in solo Spice terms) instead it’s just a one week flop

I mean, even I a hard fan can't quite get behind the album... let alone the general public lol

To be fair I actually do quite like it.

I love:

- Baby please don't stop

- I wish I could have loved you more

- Teardrops

- I only wanna be with you (with Will Young)

I really like

- Emotion

I like as album tracks:

- You're all I need to get by (with Jade Jones)

- Don't call me baby

I tolerate (play it when it comes on but don't actively choose it):

- Come away with me (with Josh Kumra)

- Here comes the sun

I skip:

- 2 become 1 (with Robbie Williams)

So all in all I do think it is a good 7 track album, and the only song I don't like ironically is 2 become 1  It sounds too karaoke.

It was to be expected. Hopefully it does over 1.3k this week to bring it to 8k.

I'd actually find it annoying if it does sell 1.3k this week... where were they last week to get it top bloody 10! In fact any sales this week are a waste when it's probably not even going to be top 100

The album debuted at #55 on spanish album chart.
#7 on the Heatseekers album chart in the United States

Oh that is actually not that bad? Doesnt that mean like #107?

Nope, there’s already a Top 200 albums chart in the US!

The Heatseekers Albums chart contains 25 positions that are ranked by Nielsen SoundScan sales data, and charts album titles from "new or developing acts" as determined by the acts' historical chart performance. Once an artist/act has had an album place in the top 100 of the Billboard Top 200, or in the top 10 of any of the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, Country Albums, Latin Albums, Christian Albums, or Gospel Albums charts, the album and later works no longer qualify for tracking on Heatseeker Albums. This definition means that some artists can still qualify as "new and developing" for years, even decades; The Tragically Hip have recorded on the Heatseekers Albums catalog 10 times between 1992 and 2016, yet they still qualify as "new and developing" as they have never had an album in Billboard's top 100.

Many artists have bypassed Top Heatseekers altogether by having their initial chart entry debut on the Billboard 200 at position 100 or above.

The Heatseekers Songs chart contains 25 positions, rated by a combination of Nielsen BDS airplay measurements, Nielsen SoundScan sales data, and streaming activity figures from online music sources. Like Heatseekers Albums, this chart tracks titles from "new or developing acts", similarly determined by the acts' historical chart performance. An artist's song is no longer eligible for Heatseekers Songs when the artist has had a song place in the top 50 of the Billboard Hot 100 (or has had a radio song before December 5, 1998).

Ah ok thanks. f*** it then lol
Apparently it climbed from #88 to #85 in the midweeks! We love a rising hit album.

Ooh! Queen of longevity *_*

Haha, honestly I'll be so pleased if she manages a second week in the Top 100, as sad as that may sound. The last solo album that managed to do that is This Time, 57-97 (with hindsight I'm kind of surprised that album didn't drop too drastically, given its low peak).

Another week top 100 would make just missing the top 10 feel slightly better. I wonder how long supermarkets will keep stocking it, I guess as long as it is in supermarkets it might linger between 80 and 200.
I mean, all fan driven sales are gone now so I'm not surprised if it manages to stay in the top 90 (as sad as that sounds).
