March 31, 20196 yr Fuuuuck. This is hard! I went for Get Weird though. Both were absolutely stellar single choices though!
March 31, 20196 yr I find they both perfect. Wouldn’t change a thing. Will vote in favour of Glory Days only because I like its singles better.
April 1, 20196 yr Author Really surprised that everyone thinks get weird is the worst out of them both
April 1, 20196 yr Really surprised that everyone thinks get weird is the worst out of them both Get Weird's singles run was good, but Glory Days I think is one of the best singles runs by a pop act ever, for me. In fact, as soon as the album came out I remember wishing for that singles run, but never imagining it'd actually turn out like that.
April 1, 20196 yr Well Glory Days nailed it, if I was their manager I maybe would have released Oops just because, might as well and then Is Your Love Enough? would have got a bigger push after RL.
April 2, 20196 yr Get Weird's singles run was good, but Glory Days I think is one of the best singles runs by a pop act ever, for me. In fact, as soon as the album came out I remember wishing for that singles run, but never imagining it'd actually turn out like that. Yeah, it was literally bang-on what everyone was hoping for from the GD era, even down to 'Oops' being relegated to promo-single in favour of NMSS (even in spite of the former showing strong signs of being a hit). GW's run was amazing too, but 'Hair' wasn't a massive standout when the album dropped in the way 'Power' was. I remember there being quite a bit of debate on here over the 4th single (I was rooting for 'Grown', yikes!).
April 2, 20196 yr Glory Days was perfection in regards to singles choice Get Weird wasn’t far from it but I would’ve changed a little
April 2, 20196 yr I too am glad at the release of 'Hair', even though I would have been more in favour of 'Grown', 'A.D.I.D.A.S.' or 'Weird People'. I could have imagined 'OMG (feat. Iggy Azalea)' happening even. Also wanted 'Lightning' at some point and prefer 'Love Me or Leave Me' over SLS. Edited April 2, 20196 yr by Juliano
