July 22, 20195 yr This has got the 16th week at #1, its lead over 'bad guy' only reduced to 1.3:1. Feels like the record should be in the bag now unless 'bad guy' / something else gets another huge boost from somewhere during the week.

It feels like more power to the people than ever before considering that he's doing this largely on streams & sales while radio continue to drop it in favour of Khalid's light blue wallpaper. July 23, 20195 yr One sweet day was #1 for 16 weeks thanks to payola & airplay... at least this and Despacito are driven by sales... I think Despacito is the biggest song, this has taken advantage from memes and YT, think Despacito used less gimmicks to do it...

Of course, it's all beneficial for his streaming but he would have likely remained at the top of the Hot 100 either way.
