He’s taken Kylie, from her last record on Parlophone, which sold under 100,000, to one million over her last two albums.

Not sure where this one million has come from? Can't be worldwide sales as 'Golden' and 'Disco' definitely won't have done 500k each worldwide. Maybe it includes 'Step Back in Time' too, but still it seems too much. The "under 100k" obviously refers to the UK only sales for 'Kiss Me Once', very unfair to compare UK sales with worldwide sales. We know BMG has been a much more successful team for Kylie than her latter days in Parlophone but let's not over do it!

 

Glad it sounds like we'll be getting a new Kylie album early 2023! I'm guessing another March/April release.

Interesting article about BMG, the article is about BMG UK President interview. His comment about the last album of Parlophone sounded a bit harsh but it was true. :lol:

 

What gets me excited is... "So next year we’ll start our third album with Kylie..."

 

Interesting that he says they ‘Only expected to do 1 album with Kylie’.

When I heard the sad news of Olivias passing kylie came into my mind as I knew kylie always had huge admiration for her. RiP Olivia.

Yeah that’s what I thought too. She’s always credited Olivia in Grease as an early influence and mentioned how starstruck she was when she met her in the late 80s. Really sad loss but I’ve always admired Olivia’s strength and optimism throughout her 30 year on/off cancer battle.

James Wiles on twitter asked Mousse T if he dropped the Kid Creme dub of Kylie Love At First Sight as it went off!

 

Seems the Producers are in Croatia and Kylie is there doing some album work. Promising.
