Anyone else having a little bit of trouble with digitalsalesdata? The RSPB doesn't seem to exist according to them but they've entitled Stormzy's new song 'Let Nature Sing' ;)

Taylor's last lead single was #1 here for 3 weeks, Stormzy had never charted higher than #6... :P

2 weeks! I had to check as I was pretty sure of it, but that made me second guess myself!

20. Bugzy Malone - M.E.N II

113. Georgia - About Work the Dancefloor (Edit)

190. Taron Egerton - Rocket Man

261. Boy George & Culture Club - Runaway Train (feat. Gladys Knight)

414. The National - Hairpin Turns

455. Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes - Kitty Sucker

Oh yes, it was 3 weeks in the US which I think is what I was thinking of, but you are right ofc. My point still stands tho x

the birds song has a huge lead now according to livepopbars (kworb seems to be frozen), has put Taylor down to 0.47
Taylor is 59p now. I’ve never seen a song go 59p mid week before I don’t think!
it's a useless strategy for this week, the top 3 is on lock, nothing is gonna change even if they add vertical videos on Spotify or get the song to 59p

10. Ramin Djawadi - The Night King (From Game of Thrones: Season 8) [Music from the HBO Series]

20. Bugzy Malone - M.E.N II

25. United Vibe - Aint It Funny

122. JayKae & Aitch - On the Way Home (feat. Bowzer Boss)

141. Taron Egerton - Rocket Man

231. Boy George & Culture Club - Runaway Train (feat. Gladys Knight)

400. Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes - Kitty Sucker

401. Kim Petras - Got My Number

402. The National - Hairpin Turns

Taylor and her team being this desperate  And not just in the UK, they are doing all they can to secure that #1 in the US aswell, however she doesn't stand a chance basically anywhere.

My bad i thought he was bigger because he won a lot of awards last era

Shocking that her team would want the song to be a success

Success is debuting at #2 on the Hot 100.

But trying every trick in the book for it to hit #1 when it obviously stands no chance is the definition of desperate. They are even urging her fans to make viral videos on Youtube and specifying the videos should be at least 30 seconds long (the minimum needed for it to count for the chart), posting instructions how to gift a song on iTunes in order for it to count for the chart, uploading the audio of the song on the Panic!'s channel, uploading a lyric video, releasing limited edition vinlys (four different kinds) mid week, autographed merch that comes with the single purchase and now even discounting the song in the UK on the last day of the tracking week. And let's not forget the song is on top of every major Spotify and Apple Music playlist, has all the banners on every streaming and sales service and has a huge radio deal for the whole week on multiple radio formats. Also it has a commercial that's airing multiple times a day on multiple TV channels in the US (ABC/NFL/ESPN). And I've never seen a song being played in FULL as an ad on Youtube. And don't forget all the huge billboards promoting the song.

They went hard with the promo, which is understandable but at this point they are way too desperate.

That does seem excessive but, if it was little mix you would be all for it (i love little mix so hate to speak ill of them)

iTunes itself still has The RSPB at #1, something is clearly going wrong with their numbers on Kworb as they keep bouncing around wildly / showing at a completely wrong position (I noticed this earlier in the week as well), Kworb saying it's currently #6 :drama:

9. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Black Star Dancing

72. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - She Taught Me How To Fly (The Reflex Revision)

79. JayKae & Aitch - On the Way Home (feat. Bowzer Boss)

143. Taron Egerton - Rocket Man

196. Kim Petras - Got My Number

Noel #8 on livepopbars, Bird Song still miles ahead there

I'd say kworb is off cos they don't have Noel in there
