Fabulous news....let’s hope for some further strong sales to back this great start up.

Lots of streaming data missing so it's other a given at all.

She needs to get consistent sales all week

Fabulous news....let’s hope for some further strong sales to back this great start up.

I think it will have had great sales today and do ok during the week and enough to get her that 7th number 1.

i think it will sell between 7-8k and reach the top 10.... she has released far too many greatest hits albums...most fans already own the 2012 version, and the 3 new tracks are not enough to generate interest....

:kink:

I am hoping we can do 30k this week.

I think she may do well also next weekend with casual buyers in the shops etc, the first full weekend since glastonbury performance. So could wphone fully sell 4-5k in week 2 and stay top 20. Let's see

her album is back to nbr 1 on itunes so it is generating sales for sure, I know its just a gimmick now and doesn't translate into big numbers but its still a good sign that shes's doing so well on downloads, I'm sure with streaming numbers she will still be ahead and nab her 7th nbr 1 album this week.

Imagine if this was 2020! A nbr 1 album in 5 consecutive decades!!!

In all cases, this last decade would have been the one she got the most number 1 albums with 3 between 2010 and 2019... What an achievement for a pop teen act that started in the 80s on the back of a TV soap...

Imagine if this was 2020! A nbr 1 album in 5 consecutive decades!!!

I am sure she will achieve No.1 album in the next decade too.

Midweeks :cheer:

Kylie is now on 23,984 (2,672 yesterday)

Lewis is now on 11,523 (3,033 yesterday)

Should hopefully get to 30k, makes you wonder how EMI got it so wrong with the 2012 Best Of, an era when Greatest Hits albums were still more of a thing than they are now. Didn't that miss the top ten and sell less than 10k first week out?

Obviously it didn't have the Glasto exposure, but this release just feels so much more comprehensive all round and I'm sure it would have done 20-25k at least anyway.

I guess Kylie also won back loads of fans with Golden that lapsed at some point during Ultimate Kylie and Kiss Me Once though.

Yes the 2012 version sold just short of 10k (Around 9,700) but there was zero effort put into it (Let’s not get started on the artwork!) and Parlophone seemed a bit delirious at the time chucking random Kylie items out every 6 months... July 2011 The Albums Boxset, December 2011 Aphrodite Live, June 2012 Best Of.

Also the 2012 ‘Best Of’ seemed far too soon after Ultimate Kylie considering what a success that was.
