I was excited about the revival at first. We've been waiting for so long for it and with the way they were talking at the virtual reunion I thought at least the four main original cast members would still be involved and it would of been an opportunity for us to see D again. Now we know it's going to be a completely new cast I'm starting to wonder whether we will ever see him again at all. 😞

Really wish this hadn't been one of my last post about him when he was still with us. Bad omen maybe still in shock. :(

It’s nice to hear all the lovely tributes being paid to Darius today on the various programs but part of me wishes they had been so complimentary about him when he was alive. Sue
I'm sorry to hear about darius, he seemed a nice man, with charity works to boot. Condolences to all his fans on Buzzjack especially, it's awful losing a beloved pop idol.
I know he was mainly known mononymously but I did always wonder why sometimes he was referred to as Darius Danesh and other times Darius Campbell. Only now have I found out he had a double-barrelled surname!
Just a shame his forum wasn't this popular when he was alive. May he rest in peace and I hope his family get some answers :(

In the news today it says it might take at LEAST 2 months for the toxology report to come through which means his family will have to wait that long for any answers heartbreaking :(

Were there not media rumours at the time that Darius was to replace Kym Marsh in Hear'Say? He didn't need Hear'Say in the end anyway.

Considering at that point he was riding very high as a solo artist, I highly doubt it.

Kym Marsh quit Hearsay at the very beginning of 2002. Darius was part way through the Pop Idol finals at that point so if approached, I doubt he’d have been interested.

 

From what I remember that did their own Pop Idol audition process to replace Kym and ended up picking a close friend.

The daily record and Darius' fan forum page on Facebook have both opened a book of condolence for anyone who wishes to send Darius' family a message. The people that run them will make sure his family get the messages.

Colourblind at number 4 in the iTunes singles chart and dive in currently at number 36 in the iTunes album chart. Wouldn't it be lovely if we could get colourblind back in the UK top 40 chart for D. could be our tribute to him. Just an idea.

Rip Darius Danrsh Campell.

I think it's lovely all these tributes coming in from celebrities who knew Darius but getting a little bit mad with the negative newspaper articles trying to guess what happened to D plus some anti vaxxers on twitter sticking their two pence worth in :angry: let him rest in peace and do the one thing his family asked of everyone and STOP speculating PLEASE.
